Democrat Fraud John Edwards Admits To Cheating On His Wife

Friday, August 8th, 2008

Another Democrat fraud exposed!  Former Democratic Party presidential candidate and former Senator from North Carolina John Edwards has admitted to cheating on his wife Elizabeth.

Rumors have circulated for many months about Edwards’ affair with Rielle Hunter, a campaign videographer.  The National Enquirer originally broke the story of the affair, which Edwards vehemently denied numerous times.

Edwards lied repeatedly about his affair.  But we expect lies from Democrats because they are nothing but liars and frauds.  Edwards has finally admitted his true character to the world, as if we couldn’t tell his true character from his ambulance-chasing lawyer days.  He betrayed his loyal wife, and lied about it over and over again.

Both Edwards and Hunter deny that he is the father of her baby.  So why was he seen in the same hotel she was staying in recently?  Was Edwards stopping in for a quickie?  Perhaps like his buddy Bill Clinton, he desired the same kind of services that Monica Lewinsky provided?

Edwards, like all Democrats, is a fraud.  A total and complete fraud.  He is extremely wealthy and lives in a mansion while pretending to care about the poor.  He lives a lifestyle of wealth and luxury and has a huge carbon footprint.  But he never gives his own money away to help the poor he pretends to care about.

All the political commentators say that Edwards’ political career is over.  There is no chance of him being Barack Obama’s vice presidential pick now.

Aw, how sad…

Flip Flop: Barack Obama Now Supports Offshore Oil Drilling…Sort Of

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

Barack Hussein Obama appears to have made another flip-flop.  Before, he was vehemently opposed to offshore oil drilling (and drilling anywhere else, for that matter).  Now, he appears to have changed his tune.  Sort of…  It’s hard to tell with Barack Obama.  Because if he isn’t flip-flopping, he’s purposefully vague so as to avoid taking a real stand on an issue and angering his liberal base.

New York Times Article

But why would Obama change his position when one week ago he was opposed to offshore drilling?  Probably because polls indicate that a majority of Americans want more drilling.  And we all know how Democrats forumulate their positions not based on their core beliefs, but on polling data.

Frauds and liars, each and every one of those Democrats.

Tickle Down Economics Is Real…But Only When Things Are Bad

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

For years those on the left have been saying that there is no such thing as trickle down economics.  Under the theory of trickle down economics, what is good for the wealthy is good for the rest of us since the wealthy invest and spend money which in turn creates jobs and increases the wealth of the nation.

Sounds logical, right?  Not to the liberal left.  They’ve argued against trickle down economics for decades and its underpinnings which are the workings of the free market, instead insisting on more wealth redistribution.

I saw this article on Yahoo News about the wealthy crimping spending and investing due to uncertainties in the economy to the detriment of everyone else.  Yes, that’s right, when average Americans are harmed by less spending by the wealthy, trickle down economics is real.  The thesis of the article is that the wealthy are contributing to the economic hardships of everyone by not spending enough of their money.

Yahoo article

The rich are sharing your financial pain — and contributing to it.

It may have taken longer and it may not be as acute, but there are early hints that the economic slump is crimping the lifestyles of the wealthy.

They are investing more conservatively, spending less on luxury goods and are being more thrifty with their credit cards.

That news may produce a shrug from many people who have lost their jobs or homes in this economy. The problem is that when the wealthy get stingy, it trickles down to the rest of us.

The 10 percent of households with the highest incomes account for nearly a quarter of all spending…

So, is trickle down economics real?  Yes, but only in situations where the wealthy can be vilified and class envy exploited for political gain.  It’s real when it comes to harm being done to average Americans, but not real when there is any benefit.

Another thought: if a bad economy leaves the wealthy either with less money to spend or with less comfort in spending it, wouldn’t higher taxes do the same?  Yes it would.
