A Bogus Bush Lied Study From Liberal Hacks
Well, here we have another bogus study conducted by liberals. This time, the study isn’t a gross exaggeration of Iraq civilian deaths, a study that was recently proven to be full of excrement. This latest one is a study of “false statements” made by the Bush administration to justify the Iraq War, undertaken by liberal “journalism organizations”. The so-called study was conducted by the Center for Public Integrity and the Fund for Independence in Journalism. Yeah, as if we are too dumb to realize that there is neither integrity nor independence to be found in either of those two organizations just because their names give the impression otherwise…
Too bad they don’t mention that 100% of the statements Bush made about Iraq, its WMD programs, and nuclear aspirations was said years earlier by Democrats. See our Democrat Iraq War Quotes for more.
This so-called study is left-wing propaganda and nothing more. A statement is only false if the person saying it knows it to be untrue. For example, serial rapist Bill Clinton made false statements about not having a sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky because he knew that he did indeed have such a relationship with her. Bill Clinton lied. He made false statements. Bush did not.
When you make a statement based on information you believe to be true, that is not a deliberate false statement or a lie. We live in a world of imperfect information. As such, we must formulate our views based on the information we have access to. Bush and the Democrats years before him were given information claiming that Saddam was a threat and they all believed it.
Democrats and Republicans almost universally felt that Saddam Hussein was a threat, a viewpoint that was justified because Saddam was a mass murderer and did at one time have and use chemical weapons against civilians, never proving that he got rid of him as required. Saddam Hussein was a dangerous man. Revisionist history doesn’t change the truth.
This type of bogus study and the unbalanced, biased news coverage it generates will only serve to fool the idiots and dolts among us into believing, the few that don’t already, that Bush lied. But a quick internet search reveals a treasure trove of Democrat quotes, all of which make the same claims Bush made about Iraq, some of them years before Bush was fairly elected in 2000.
In a speech to the floor of the Senate, John Kerry said the following on November 9th, 1997—a full three years before Bush was elected:
“We must recognize that there is no indication that Saddam Hussein has any intention of relenting. So we have an obligation of enormous consequence, an obligation to guarantee that Saddam Hussein cannot ignore the United Nations. He cannot be permitted to go unobserved and unimpeded toward his horrific objective of amassing a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction.”
On December 16th, 1998, Bill Clinton said in a speech to the nation:
“Earlier today, I ordered America’s armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq’s nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.”
“Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world.”
“Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons…”
“The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government — a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people.”
There is much, much more where that came from. Watch this Youtube video for more Democrat quotes about how dangerous Saddam Hussein was back in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

You see, the truth is out there. You just have to spend a few minutes to look for it. But judging by how many millions of Democrat voters spend their entire lives on welfare because they are too lazy to get off their fat butts to get jobs to support themselves and their families, I don’t expect many of them to spend the two minutes necessary to discover the truth behind these “Bush lied” claims. Thus, they will happily believe whatever the liberal media tells them and believe it to be true, unquestioned.
The Iraq War is just as much the Democrats’ War as it is Bush’s. They were the ones who laid the groundwork for war all during the 1990s with their never-ending claims of Saddam being such a dangerous threat to the world.
Ignorance and idiocy are the best friends of the Democratic Party.
