Al Gore’s Never-Ending Hypocrisy: Live Earth
This past weekend witnessed the latest propaganda attempt by Al Gore in his efforts to enrich himself by spreading unfounded hysteria and fear: Live Earth.
Apparently, having concerts all over the world that create unnecessary pollution which contributes (supposedly) to global warming is the proper thing to do to raise awareness in Gore’s twisted and limited mind. Much like a parent smoking pot to try to convince his children not to smoke pot, I guess…
How many thousands of tons of carbon dioxide were released into the atmosphere to fly the performers, their managers, roadcrew, and entourage around the world? How much pollution was created to generate the power for the lighting and sound systems? How many hundreds-of-thousands of concert-goers created pollution traveling to and from the concert sites?
Al Gore is a liberal fraud of the worst kind. He spreads hysteria and lies and positions himself to financially benefit from it. Al Gore is making money hand-over-fist from this global warming nonsense.
Unfortunately, left-wingers aren’t smart enough to see Gore for the fraud that he truly is. I mean, if it wasn’t enough that he flies around the world in private jets to give talks about global warming–for which he is handsomely compensated, and if it wasn’t enough that his one home used 20 times the amount of electricity as the average home, will a series of unnecessary, massively polluting concerts be enough to convince left-wingers of what a joke Al Gore is? I doubt it.
The next time I read an article from a star-struck liberal desperate for Gore to run for President because he is the only one who can save the world I am going to be sick.

The one I love the best is the ultimate Gore scam — carbon credits. It takes a certain type of weasel to pull this one off, but Gore, at his pontificating best, has convinced Hollywood, SF, etc. that they can use and create all of the carbon that they want (i.e., live in 30,000-sq-ft homes, drive Mercedes SUVs, etc.) and still receive the environmental blessing; provided they pay money into “carbon credits.” What a crok!!! It’s the ultimate Get Out of Jail Free card — but it gets better!!! Guess who owns one of the biggest carbon credit funds? Al Gore. What a flim-flam man!!! If Gore is really serious about reducing global warming, the best thing he could do would be to stay home and keep his fat mouth shut, thus reducing the amount of hot air going into the environment.

And of those 600 “climate scientists”, how many of them are socialists? You see, there’s a few climate scientists who are admins on Wikipedia and they do everything possible to prevent any sort of contrary views from appearing on the global warming article. I know, because in the past I tried to put a link to the “global warming skeptics” article and it was swiftly removed–time and time again.

As for the “scientific evidence”, what do you have? It is NOT possible to accurately measure the temperature of trillions of different data points in the earth’s atmosphere. So, the only thing we have are estimates, either from atmospheric modeling or from (hopefully) random sampling. There is going to be a margin of error in both methods.
Have you ever gone swimming in a lake? If you have, you’ll know that there are currents in the lake that can vary wildly in temperature. It can be nice and warm in one spot of the lake and be icy cold a few feet over. So what is the average temperature of the lake???
How come yesterday it was 5 degrees warmer 10 miles from where I was? How can the temperature vary by 5 degrees Fahrenheit over a distance as short as 10 miles? It does, and it is completely normal.
The earth has warmed and cooled many times over the millenia–and it WILL continue to do so, with or without human activity. The true agenda of the Democrats and socialist liberals is to use global warming as an excuse for more wealth redistrubution. Democrats want to raise taxes on energy so they will have more money with which to buy votes from the welfare class. These “carbon taxes” will make manufacturing and other economic activity prohibitively expensive. That will destroy jobs and/or push jobs overseas in a hurry.

That is hypocrisy at its finest!
Obviously, Al Gore doesn’t take the threat of environmental catastrophe seriously enough to modify his own behavior, so why should we? The guy is ALREADY rich, so why does he need to pollute more so he can make himself even richer???

I agree entirely except for one point. Al Gore isnt doing this for money - he is doing this to run for President. He has never wavered for one second from his goal of being President. When he lost Florida he mapped out a plan to win in 2008 and he has brilliantly come up with a fraud (global warming) that the dummies who vote in DEM primaries will fall for. Al Gore is the most gifted liar on the planet today and I am just waiting for his next lie - why he has decided to run for president when he said he had ‘no plans to run again.’

DEMOCRATS were the architects of the Iraq war. All during the 1990s Democrats were saying that Saddam was dangerous man and needed to be removed (Kerry in 1997 and Clinton in 1998). Al Gore harshly criticized the first Bush administration for not doing enough about the threat of terrorism posed by Saddam Hussein. (Recall that Bush the First was not authorized by Congress to remove Saddam from power, so he couldn’t do it.)
