The Democrat culture of corruption continues.  Wealthy Democrat donor Raj Rajaratnam, founder of hedge fund Galleon Group, was charged with insider trading.  Rajaratnam is a supporter of Barack Obama.  He donated $4,600 to Obama and $30,800 to Obama Victory Fund in 2008.

I found some media bias exhibited by ABC News.  The news network (if you can call it that) reported that Rajaratnam donated to Hillary Clinton, but they did not report that he also donated to Obama until the final paragraph of the article on page two.

The New York hedge fund billionaire indicted today in an alleged $20 million insider trading scheme, Raj Rajaratnam, was a major contributor to the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and also the single largest known U.S. contributor to a charity linked to the Tamil Tiger terror group in Sri Lanka, according to records obtained by ABCNews.com.

Why did ABC News mention the donations to Hillary Clinton in the first paragraph, but wait until the second page to mention the donations to Barack Obama when Obama received much more money than Hillary did from Rajaratnam?

Hillary Clinton received a total of $6,500 in donations from Rajaratnam.  Barack Obama received a total of $35,400.

It seems to me that Obama should have been mentioned first.  Not only since he received five times the money that Hillary did, but because he is President.

The biggest scam artists in the history of the world have all been Democrats.

There was Bernard Madoff who ran a $50 billion Ponzi scheme bilking thousands out of their life savings, leaving some destitute.  Then there was R. Allen Stanford who ran an $8 billion certificate of deposit Ponzi scheme.  Yesterday, Democrat fundraiser Norman Hsu was sentenced to 24 years in prison for running a $50 million Ponzi scheme and for violating campaign finance laws so he could illegally steer money to Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Is it purely coincidence that the biggest scammers that have ever lived are all Democrats?  No.  Lying, cheating, and stealing are what Democrats do best.  Every Democrat policy at its core involves stealing money from those who earn it so it can be given to those who didn’t earn it to buy votes.  So it should come as no surprise that scammers are Democrats.

Democrats made a big deal about a few isolated instances of Republican corruption.  But the Democrats are the dirtiest of the dirty.  Even Barack Obama has taken campaign cash in exchange for steering money.  Obama’s buddy Tony Rezko, convicted of fraud and bribery and implicated in the Rod Blagojevich case, gave campaign contributions to and bought property with Obama.  Obama repaid Rezko through the years by using his political influence to steer taxpayer money to Rezko’s companies.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Justice Department is in disarray following the sham Ted Stevens case and may not aggressively pursue cases against corrupt Democrats like it should.  I think this is by design.  The Department of Justice is headed by Eric Holder, a longtime DFL hack and buddy of Obama’s.  So look for a cover-up regarding Obama’s pay-for-play activities.

A court-appointed liquidator overseeing the liquidation of Democrat scam artist R. Allen Stanford’s banking interests has said there is a $6 billion shortfall between the bank’s assets and liabilities, meaning affected investors are likely to see little of their money recovered.

Stanford, also known as Sir Robert Allen Stanford, is suspected of running a multi-billion dollar ponzi scheme like Bernard L. Madoff did.  Not surprisingly, Madoff is also a Democrat.

So, where did all of the money Stanford took from investors go?  Likely, some of it was donated to the Democratic Party and interests trying to get Democrats elected.  Stanford was a bigtime Democratic Party donor, having lavished the party with hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in campaign contributions over the years.  Stanford was known to hobnob with leaders of the Democratic Party and was filmed hugging Nancy Pelosi and being personally thanked by Bill Clinton.

I’m sure that some of the money was used by Stanford to live a lavish lifestyle typical of limousine liberals.  You see, liberal Democrats are entitled to live in mansions, eat fine food, travel by private jet, and drive gas guzzlers.  The rest of us are not.

The son of Democrat Senator Roland Burris was hired by impeached Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s administration in September of last year.  The son, Roland Burris II, got a job with the Illinois Housing Development Authority which administers mortgages for low income people.  Basically, the son got a job with a welfare agency.

Burris is under investigation for perjury during Blagojevich’s impeachment proceedings during which the governor tried to sell Barack Obama’s vacated seat.  Numerous prominent Democrats have called for Burris to resign his Senate post in light of his possible untruthfulness when he admitted that he was asked to raise money for Blago despite denying any such conversations previously.

Not only did the son get a sweetheart job from Blagojevich, but it turns out that he’s a tax cheater and a deadbeat, too.  The son has a $34,163 tax lien on his Chicago home which is currently in foreclosure.

Should anyone be surprised by this?  Democrats are nothing but self-serving crooks.

Bernie Madoff has been charged with running the world’s biggest Ponzi scheme that ripped-off thousands of individual investors, investment management firms, and foundations through his investment firm, Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities.  By Madoff’s own admission, the total fraud could total $50 billion.

Investigators are currently tracking what the DFLer did with all the money.  It is believed that instead of using client deposits to buy securities for their accounts, as an honest Republican would have done, Madoff hid the money by wiring it to foreign banks in several different countries.

Bernard Madoff is a big time Democrat.  He has been a financial backer of the Democratic Party and DFL candidates for years.  You can glean a person’s political affiliation by looking at their personal political campaign contributions, which I did back in December.  Of Bernie Madoff’s individual political donations, 97.7% of the total dollar amount went to Democrats. Maybe Madoff took it upon himself to “tax the rich”?  Perhaps ripping people off is Madoff’s idea of wealth redistribution?  What he did isn’t any different than what Obama or any other Democrat wants to do.

Madoff is a Democrat.  R. Stanford Is A Tax Cheater

You cannot trust a Democrat.  They all lie, cheat, and steal from anyone and everyone.  It must be encoded in their genes.

R. Allen Stanford, the Democratic Party donor who is suspected of committing an $8 billion fraud, apparently didn’t believe in paying his taxes.  According to the Associated Press, Stanford had four federal tax liens against him for years 2007 and 2008 for a total of $212 million.  That’s how much he owed the government in taxes!

Can you believe this guy’s hypocrisy?  He was a major financial supporter of the Democratic Party, the party that is responsible for taxes being as high as they are and who wants to raise them higher, and he didn’t even pay the taxes that he supported via his support for the DFL!

Since Stanford is a wealthy Democrat who doesn’t believe in paying his taxes, maybe Obama should nominate him for a cabinet post.  Obama already nominated four tax cheaters, why not a fifth?

Here is conclusive, irrefutable proof that alleged conman R. Allen Stanford is a Democrat.

Stanford is known by many aliases including: Robert Allen Stanford, Allen Stanford, and Sir Allen Stanford. Regardless of what he calls himself, we know what he truly is at heart: a Democrat.  He is as big of a Democrat as Bernard Madoff is (more on Madoff’s political contributions can be found at this site).  Both men are huge financial contributors to the Democratic Party and enjoyed hobnobbing with DFL power brokers.  The content of their character is typically Democrat as well.  They lie, cheat, and steal with no regard for others and no intelligence to tell them they will eventually get caught.

Stanford stands accused of scamming billions of dollars from clients of his investment firm Stanford Financial Group over many years. Around $8 billion of client money is unaccounted for. Stanford, once estimated to be worth $2 billion, is accused of being the architect of the fraud. He is also suspected of helping Mexican drug lords launder money. Law enforcement authorities are currently trying to locate him as he seems to have disappeared.  I wonder why…

ABC News ran a story this evening about Stanford’s cozy relationship with Washington D.C. Democrats (video).  In Brian Ross’ piece, Stanford is shown at the Democratic National Convention in August 2008.  In the video, he is seen hugging Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).  Former President and sexual predator Bill Clinton is shown thanking Stanford for his sponsorship of a big event.  The National Democratic Institute even invited Stanford to speak to them.

If anyone doubts that R. Allen Stanford is a true blue Democrat, that picture should remove all doubt.  Nancy Pelosi isn’t a Republican hugger.

What is most of interest are Stanford’s personal political donations.  His company ran a political action committee (PAC) that had numerous Stanford Financial Group employees donating to it.  But we want to examine the content of the character of a man who would scam people out of billions of dollars.  So we want to look at who he donated to, we don’t care about  anyone else.  We want to understand the mindset of one of the biggest scam artists in history.  We can learn much about a man’s character–and his intelligence–by looking at his political affiliations.  Generally speaking, if someone votes Democrat, they aren’t very bright.  A man who thinks he can get away with scamming investors out of billions has to be pretty stupid.  Predictably, he’s a Democrat.

Our research is complicated by the fact that Stanford used several variations on his name.  He also has a father named Allen Stanford.  Whether or not the father’s full name is the same as the son’s is not known by me at this time.  The father worked for the firm on the investment committee.  The son, Robert Allen Stanford, was Chairman and CEO.  That will help us determine which contributions are his.  Also, Stanford’s company has offices in several cities.  Most of his contributions are listed in Houston, Texas, but one critical contribution is listed as from Miami, Florida, where his company has an office.  Other contributions list his residence in the Virgin Islands.  His company was based in Antigua.  Yes, this Democrat didn’t want to pay taxes so he located his company in a tax haven.  Typical Democrat hypocrisy.

There can be no disputing the fact that alleged scam artist Robert Allen Stanford is as big of a Democrat as his fellow crook Bernie Madoff is.  The man is a crook.  The man is a Democrat.

Those Democrats sure have a difficult time telling the truth, don’t they?

Senator Roland Burris, who was appointed to fill Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, may not have been completely honest about his conversations regarding raising money for former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.  It turns out that he did indeed discuss raising money for the disgraced former governor, and had those discussions with the governor’s brother, Robert Blagojevich.

Burris recently revealed details about the conversations.  Some have speculated that Burris may have been captured on the FBI’s wiretaps of Blagojevich.  From the Chicago Sun Times:

After contact with federal agents, U.S. Sen. Roland Burris changed his sworn testimony to the Illinois House committee that moved to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.

Burris acknowledged Sunday that federal investigators have contacted his lawyers.

Burris’ voice “might have been” on the tapes, said his lawyer Timothy Wright.

So, Burris may have been caught red-handed committing perjury.  Illinois Republicans are asking prosecutors to investigate him.

Burris has been revealed to be another Democrat liar after less than two months in office.  Is anyone surprised? 

Another Democrat is accused of a multibillion dollar fraud.  Texas financier R. Allen Stanford (a.k.a. Robert Allen Stanford, a.k.a. Sir Allen Stanford) has been charged by the SEC with running a massive fraud involving certificates of deposit (CDs).  Stanford’s investment company Stanford Financial Group and its affiliates have been unable to account for $8 billion in investor money.  Stanford lured investors by promising high interest rates on his CDs.

It looks like we may have another Democrat Ponzi scheme here.

What is most revealing is who alleged scam artist Stanford supported in the Presidential election.  Stanford donated $4,600 to Barack Obama via his election committee.  On May 31st, 2008, Stanford made his donation to Obama, according to the Federal Election Commission website.

Stanford gave no contributions to John McCain.

It isn’t surprising that a scam artist who engages in fraud would be drawn to a fraud like Barack Obama, is it?  Birds of a feather flock together.

While R. Allen Stanford lives in Texas, his company does have multiple offices throughout the country, including one in Miami, Florida.

Stanford had an estimated net worth of $2 billion, which apparently wasn’t enough to satisfy his Democrat lust for money.

Also charged as part of the Stanford Financial Group fraud was Chief Financial Officer James Davis and Chief Investment Officer Laura Pendergest-Holt.  The SEC charges clearly indicate that Stanford is the architect of the fraud.

By the way, did you know that Wall Street was the largest contributor to Barack Obama’s inaugural?  It is true.

Battered Wall St tops Obama inaugural donors: study

Wall Street may be bruised and battered, but it still donated more money than any other U.S. industry to President-elect Barack Obama’s inaugural festivities on Tuesday, a study has found.

The Center for Responsive Politics said executives of finance, insurance and real estate companies and their family members gave $7.1 million to Obama’s inaugural committee.

Disgraced Illinois Governor, Democrat Rod Blagojevich, was removed from office today.  The Illinois state Senate voted unanimously to throw the impeached governor out of office.

Not only did the Senate remove him, but they voted to prevent Blagojevich from ever holding public office in the state again.  Blago has not yet been convicted of a crime in a court of law.

Blagojevich was charged with corruption and other crimes in December of last year after the FBI taped conversations involving the alleged sale of President Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat and other pay-for-play activities.

Democrat Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich really knows how to play politics.  He’s almost as slick of a liar as Barack Obama is.

This week, Blagojevich is claiming that he considered selecting obese limousine liberal Oprah Winfrey to fill Obama’s vacated Senate seat.

Apparently, Blagojevich never discussed it with Oprah.

Why would Oprah Winfrey, who made a reported $250 million in 2007 and has a net worth in excess of $2 billion, want to give up her lucrative income and take a job as a Senator, anyway?

The real question is this:  why is Blagojevich making public now his consideration of Oprah for Senate?  The answer is for the same reason he selected Roland Burris, a black man, for the vacant seat:  he wants to score points with Chicago blacks.

Chicago has a large black population.  When Blagojevich goes on trial, there is a good chance the trial will be held in Chicago.  There are two federal courts in Illinois, one in Chicago and the other in Rockford.  Rockford is only about 100 miles away from Chicago.  So, in either case, it is likely that there will be blacks on the jury.  Blagojevich wants to score as many points with potential black jurors as possible.

Blagojevich may have learned a thing or two about how to rig a jury from the OJ Simpson trial.

The Democrat mayor of Racine, WI, is in a lot of hot water.  Gary Becker, 51, was charged with six felonies.  Charges allege the Democrat possessed child pornography and tried to arrange a sexual encounter with a child.

Becker is married with two children. He was charged with misconduct in office, child enticement, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, attempt to expose a child to harmful material, and possession of child pornography.

Racine city workers who were helping Mayor Becker fix a problem with his personal computer found illegal pornographic files on it and alerted police.

Becker was elected mayor in 2003 and ran unopposed for re-election in 2007. The Democrat had previously served two terms as a city alderman.

At least Bill Clinton limited himself to barely-legal adults.

It looks like the Obama administration continues to steep itself in controversy before it even takes power. Another one of Barack Obama’s picks for his cabinet, this time Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, has an ethics problem.

Geithner, the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, failed to pay self-employment taxes from 2001 to 2004 while employed by the International Monetary Fund. After an IRS audit for tax years 2003 – 2004 back in 2006, Geithner paid almost $17,000 in taxes and interest. After being nominated by Obama for the Treasury post, Geithner amended his taxes for 2001 and 2002, paying nearly $26,000 in taxes and interest he failed to pay when due.

Is this a serious issue? Possibly. Let’s face it: America’s tax laws are unnecessarily complex thanks to the Democratic Party. It isn’t surprising to me that someone has issues with properly paying taxes. However, if the person in question happens to be a Democrat who advocates higher taxes and votes for the people responsible for the complex tax code we face, then it makes him a hypocrite. I am not sure Geithner is a Democrat.

Here’s the kicker: he obviously must have known that he did not properly pay his taxes in 2001 and 2002 because he paid them only after being tapped by Obama. With his history of not properly paying his taxes in 2003 and 2004, he probably knew he didn’t pay them properly from 2001 – 2002 as well. He made no attempt to rectify his underpayment of taxes until he entered the national spotlight.

Another issue clouding the nomination of Geithner is his employment of an immigrant to work as domestic help in his home. The Geithners illegally continued to employ an immigrant for about three months whose work permit had expired.

Thus far, we have had the controversy about Barack Obama’s vacant senate seat and what deals, if any, the Obama team may have struck with disgraced, indicted Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. Then, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson had to withdraw his nomination for Commerce Secretary because of pay-for-play allegations surrounding the Democrat. Obama’s pick for Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has conflict of interest issues because of the millions of dollars in donations her husband’s foundation received from rich and powerful foreigners.  And now we have issues with Geithner illegally employing immigrants and failing to pay his taxes.

If the pre-inauguration controversies enveloping the Obama administration are any indication, his entire Presidency will be one controversy after another. It isn’t like people didn’t predict this given Obama’s past associations.  A tiger can’t change his stripes, and neither can Barack Obama.

The Democrat Culture Of Corruption™ continues.  This time, it’s another big city mayor in trouble for corruption and a city council member.

Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon, Democrat (pictured at left), has been indicted for: stealing gift cards donated to the city for the poor; failing to report fur coats, vacations, and other gifts given to her by developers; perjury; misappropriation; and misconduct in office.

This Democrat was literally stealing from the poor!  How low can you go?  If you are a Democrat, you can go very low, evidently.

Dixon has been accused of accepting $20,000 worth of gifts from developers doing business with the city.  She is also alleged to have stolen $3,500 in gift cards she ordered developers to buy on behalf of poor families and spending them herself.

In typical Democrat fashion, Ms. Dixon insists that she is innocent and has been “unfairly accused”.

Also from Baltimore–a hellhole of crime and violence typical of Democrat strongholds–Democrat city councilwoman Helen Holton (pictured at left) has been indicted for bribery and perjury.

Councilwoman Holton has been charged with accepting a bribe of $12,500 from a developer to pay for a political survey she had conducted.  She has also been charged with perjury related to her failure to reveal all gifts she received on a financial disclosure form.

Do you think that these Democrats will play the race card in these cases?

At every level of politics you will find the Democrat Culture Of Corruption™.  Democrats were very critical of what they called the “republican culture of corruption”.  But the Democrat Culture Of Corruption™ is much worse.

I wonder if these two ladies are friends with convicted Democrat Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

The Illinois House today impeached disgraced Democrat governor Rod Blagojevich.

While Mr. Blagojevich has not been convicted of any crime, the House action sets up a Senate trial to remove the sleezeball Democrat from office.

You may recall that federal prosecutors had the governor arrested to prevent him from appointing a replacement for President-elect Barack Hussein Obama.  Turns out that was a stupid mistake because Blagojevich appointed a successor to Obama anyway and the Democrats in the US Senate seem to be less opposed to seating Roland Burris than they were last week.  The idiot prosecutor should have let the investigation run its course instead of prematurely arresting Blagojevich so that he could further implicate himself and other Democrats in crimes.

Shouldn’t Illinois wait until the governor is convicted in a court of law before removing him from office?  I think so.

President-elect Barack Obama’s pick for commerce secretary, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, withdrew himself from consideration for the post in light of an on-going corruption investigation involving the Democrat.

The grand jury investigation involving Richardson has to do with contributions from a California company to his political action committees (PAC) and whether or not the governor or any other state employees pressured the New Mexico Finance Authority to award the contract to CDR Financial Products, the contributor.

CRD made $1.48 million advising the finance authority on interest rate swaps and bond refinancing. David Rubin, President of CDR, and the firm gave $100,000 to Si Se Puede and Moving America Forward, both PACs started by Governor Richardson, shortly before the contract was awarded.

The FBI has been investigating “pay-for-play” practices in state and local governments in which financial firms donate large sums of money to politicians in exchange for lucrative contracts.

The President of CDR is a big Democratic Party donor, according to the Federal Election Commission website which lists political contributions.  Among David Rubin’s contributions are:

I listed all the contributions I could find for David Rubin.  Fortunately, he used his office address on Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, for most of his contributions and his home address for just a few.  He also made a small number of contributions to non-party affiliated committees.  I did not include those.

As you can plainly see, David Rubin is a hardcore Democrat.  He appears to know the Democrat pay-for-play game well.  Of his political donations, only $9,000 out of $130,000 went to Republicans.  All the rest, or 93%, went to Democrat candidates or Democrat committees.

Some Democrats will say, “Well, he donated to Republicans, too.”  When 93% of your contributions go to Democrats, you are a Democrat.  David Rubin is a Democrat.

Democrat scam artist Bernard Madoff, who orchestrated the world’s largest Ponzi scheme which may have cost investors $50 billion, was put on house arrest yesterday by a federal judge.  (Story)

House arrest?  Why is a man who committed such a massive fraud not sitting in jail with other Democrat criminals?  How come Madoff gets to await trial in his $7 million luxury penthouse apartment which was probably bought with stolen money?  I do not understand why any judge would release the biggest thief in the history of the world.  You would have to think that someone who committed such a brazen act of fraud would be a flight risk, right?  One must wonder what judge Gabriel Gorenstein was thinking.

In case you are questioning the fact that Madoff is a Democrat, please see a previous article proving that he is indeed a Democrat.  I show all of Madoff’s political contributions.  There isn’t any indication that he donated to Barack Obama, in case you were wondering, but I’m sure Madoff voted for Obama.  Nobody loves a fraud more than another fraud.

The news broke a few days ago about the $50 billion in potential investor losses as a result of a massive Ponzi scheme.  Bernard Madoff of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities was arrested and charged with fraud in what is believed to be the largest fraud case in the history of the world.  He is the one who provided the estimate of $50 billion in losses.

When I first heard of this, the first thing I suspected was that Madoff was a Democrat.  Despite Democrat lies that Republicans are the party of big money, Wall Street is heavily populated and largely run by Democrats.  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were run and destroyed by Democrats.  Barack Obama was by far the largest recipient of donations from Wall Street employees in the 2008 Presidential campaign with Hillary Clinton not far behind.

The reason that I first suspected that Madoff is a Democrat is because that whenever you find lies, fraud, destruction, and stupidity, you will find a Democrat.

I was right.  I did a little searching for Bernard Madoff’s political contributions over at opensecrets.org. I discovered that all of his political contributions went to Democrats.  He didn’t donate a single penny to a Republican candidate or group.  Not only did the fraud mastermind Madoff donate to DFL candidates, but his children who work for him did, too.

The Madoff family is a Democrat family.  The elder Madoff is going to go down as the biggest crook in history.  It isn’t surprising that it would be a Democrat.

Now that Barack Obama has been elected President, one must wonder if he will pardon his former longtime friend Tony Rezko.

Rezko, a Chicago developer of welfare housing, was convicted in June of fraud, money laundering, and abetting bribery.  He is awaiting sentencing.  Rezko is currently talking to federal prosecutors in hopes of getting a reduced sentence.  What could he possibly have to say?

There is speculation that Rezko is dishing dirt on disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (Democrat) who has been under investigation by federal authorities for the past three years and was recently charged with several counts of corruption related to the attempted sale of Barack Obama’s Senate seat.  But there is a possibility, and a hope of millions, that Rezko will detail his relationship with Barack Obama.

Syrian-born Rezko was one of Barack Obama’s first backers.  He took Obama under his wing and helped him navigate the maze of Chicago politics.  Rezko was instrumental in raising money, the lifeblood of Chicago politics, for Obama, giving the newly minted politician his first campaign contributions.  Rezko got a lot from Obama in return.  On several occasions, Obama used his influence as state Senator in letters he wrote urging grants of taxpayer money to Rezko’s company.

There is absolutely no question that Barack Obama did political favors for his financial backer Tony Rezko.  None at all.  The question at hand is whether or not these favors were illegal and corrupt.

All it would take for Obama to be charged with corruption is for Tony Rezko to say that he raised money for Obama in exchange for favors.  Whether or not that occurred is unknown.  And if it did occur, we don’t know if Tony Rezko would be willing to roll over on his former buddy Obama.  But there is a clear financial relationship between the two men and clear evidence that Obama used his influence to get taxpayer money for Rezko.

The simplest way to keep Rezko’s mouth shut would be for Obama to pardon him.  The political damage from a pardon would be insignificant compared to criminal charges alleging corruption.  But, this is all dependent on what Tony Rezko says and, to a lesser extent, on what actually transpired between the two.

There you have it.  There is no question that Obama did favors for Rezko.  The question is whether or not they were illegal and if Rezko will talk about it.

The Democrat culture of corruption continues. Rod Blagojevich, Democrat governor of Illinois, is in federal custody on charges of corruption.  He and his chief of staff, John Harris, are charged with solicitation of bribery and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

Federal prosecutors allege that Democrat Blagojevich conspired with others to achieve financial gain with his power to appoint a successor to President-elect (I hate saying that!) Barack Hussein Obama to the United States Senate.  Among the allegations against Blagojevich are that he discussed (from CNN):

• obtaining a position with a non-profit or union-affiliated organization which would pay him a substantial salary;
• promises of campaign contributions;
• a Cabinet post or ambassadorship;
• a high-paying position for his wife on corporate boards of directors.

You may recall that it was rumored that convicted Barack Obama friend and finanical backer Tony Rezko was cooperating with federal prosecutors in building a corruption case against Blagojevich.  (Info) Despite this controversy swirling around Blagojevich, he could not resist his Democrat urges to use his position of power to enrich himself one more time.

Tony Rezko was convicted.  Blagojevich has been charged.  It is only a matter of time until a bright light is shined on Barack Hussein Obama.  Maybe then we’ll get to the truth of his crooked dealings which the liberal news media refused to do during the campaign season.
