A recent Time magazine article blames the decades-in-the-making downfall of Detroit, MI, on white racism.

That’s right.  When the black population in Detroit increased, whites fled to the suburbs for apparently racist reasons and that caused the problems Detroit faces today.  A few select passages from the article:

Soon Detroit became a majority-black city, and in 1973 it elected its first black mayor (Coleman Young).

Violent crime soared under Young. The school system began to cave in on itself. When jobs disappeared with the small businesses boarding up their doors and abandoning the city, the mayor seemed to find it more useful to bid the business owners good riddance than to address the job losses.

If white racism, Coleman Young and a delusional dependence on the auto industry’s belief in its own virtues put Detroit where it is today, what — if anything — can pull this tragic city out of its death spiral?

Those evil white people fled because of crime and violence and thus are to blame for the downfall of Detroit.  Whites are to blame for the black riots, too.

It’s always white people’s fault, isn’t it?  That is the liberal narrative.

Who elected and re-elected Mayor Young for 20 years?  It wasn’t white people.  And in case you were wondering, Mayor Young was a Democrat.

Murder, rape, and robbery are what Democrat voters do best.  This is to be expected.  In fact, if this kind of stuff doesn’t happen, it is a rarity.

Every Democrat-voting stronghold in the United States is a hellhole of crime and violence.  The only exceptions are a few wealthy enclaves like Beverly Hills.  Very few people can afford to live there, anyway.

You can trace the rise of crime and violence in America to the beginnings of the Democratic Party’s welfare programs.

Here is a very interesting article about higher education in the United States.  More specifically, the article discusses the high cost of college education which is pushing it out of reach of average Americans.

Nobody can dispute that liberals run higher education.  Not even a liberal would dare dispute that, and they are profoundly ignorant.

So what has happened to the cost of college under liberal leadership?  The cost has soared.  From 1982 to 2007, the cost of college rose 439% when adjusted for inflation.  According to the article, the cost of higher education has outpaced cost increases in food, housing, and health care.

Given that liberals run higher education and that they are a critical component of the DFL voting base, we can understand why Democrats have never spoken out about this important issue that is killing our competitiveness in the world economy.  Democrats have demanded action on food and health care costs, but have never demanded that colleges lower their tuition rates.

The only solution Democrats have proposed is to throw more taxpayer money at the problem.  Barack Obama’s plan proves what kind of idiot he truly is.  Obama’s plan to tackle the high cost of college is to give students a $4,000 tax credit in exchange for 100 hours of community service.  That’s truly stupid!  Obama wants to pay college kids $40 an hour to do community service for a measley $4,000, which wouldn’t pay for more than a few weeks of college at his alma matter Harvard.  Obama and the Democrats want to force college students to work while refusing to make welfare recipients lift a finger for their benefits that can greatly exceed $4,000 per year.

No Democrat has ever proposed looking at why college costs so much.  Because if they did, they would find waste and liberal mismanagement which would diminish their argument for more wealth redistribution.  Wealth redistribution is the foundation of the DFL platform.  Cutting the cost of college would defeat the purpose of their existence, which is to control people by redistributing wealth.

Interestingly, the more college costs, the less likely people are to attend it.  The less people who attend college, the less likely they are to get good paying jobs.  The less likely people are to get good paying jobs, the more likely they are to depend on Democrats for welfare and for everything they need to live.

See how it works?  Democrats destroy something and it ends up being beneficial to them because it keeps them in power.

Murders are up significantly in the city of Chicago.  For the first five months of 2008 murders are up almost 13% compared to the same time period in 2007.  From January through the end of May there have been 177 people murdered in the city of Chicago.

Isn’t Barack Obama from Chicago?  Yes he is.  It’s where he lives.

It is always funny to watch these Democrats talk about the loss of life in Iraq while they never mention the slaughter going on in their own backyards.  About 16,500 people are murdered in the United States every year, give or take a few hundred.  The vast majority of these murders occur in Democrat voting strongholds.

Try challenging a Democrat to name one DFL stronghold that isn’t a hellhole of crime and violence sometime.  They can’t.  The DFL destroys everything it gets its hands on.  It’s an irrefutable fact.

Barack Obama speaks big of ending the war in Iraq, but what about the war in his hometown of Chicago? Will he ever say anything about that?

This past weekend 32 people were shot, six fatally, in the city of Chicago. Wow!

Each and every single Democrat voting stronghold in the United States is a hellhole of crime and violence. The rise of crime and violence in these communities can be directly traced to the start of the War On Poverty and the generous giving of welfare benefits to anyone who wants them. If you absolve people of responsibility for their own existence, you absolve them of responsibility for many things.

Also worthy of note is that crime and violence rose in most of these communities about the same time that they had their last Republican mayors. If you look at Republican voting communities and compare them to Democrat ones, it is like night and day in terms of the levels of crime and violence.

It is no secret that the Democratic Party has a lock on the low IQ vote.

Democrat-voting strongholds have the lowest academic achievement in the modernized world. As the proportion of the DFL vote increases, the academic achievement decreases in a given district.

The primary factor in academic achievement is intelligence, not family income, as wealth redistributing liberals and communists have argued for years. And yes, there is a strong genetic basis to intelligence. Smart parents on balance have smart kids. This explains why Democrats keep getting elected in Democrat strongholds despite a 50-year track record of failure, crime, dismal education, welfare dependence, fleeing businesses, high taxes, decay, etcetera.

But a new survey by Associated Press-Yahoo! News indicates that there are many more idiots in America than previously thought.

According to a new Associated Press-Yahoo! News survey, large majorities of voters believe the president has considerable sway on issues such as inflation, interest rates, the federal deficit, taxes and more. Fully three-quarters believe the president has at least some influence over health care costs. And 69 percent can see the president making gasoline prices go up or down.

Unbelievable! Do the people think the President of the United States is a deity? Do they not realize how the government works and how the role of the President is more ceremonial than functional?

It’s almost as if some people look to their President as a God. Well, Democrat voters look to the welfare state as a God, largely because they are so incapable of taking care of themselves. But Democrats only represent between 45%-50% of the population. Where are the other idiots coming from? Is it immigration?

A few years ago I read a great report by a professor at Harvard who argued that the national IQ will fall as America takes in more low IQ immigrants from Africa and Latin America. These are not my claims, but the claims from a paper I read a few years ago that I can no longer find. I wonder if maybe there is something to that theory. More stupid people means more Democrat voters. Perhaps this is why Democrats are so eager to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants.

The Democratic Party destroys communities. Even worse, Democrats aren’t smart enough to realize what they have done. This is not surprising since Democrat communities have the lowest academic achievement in the modernized world. And the DFL’s solution to the problem they created is more of what created it in the first place.

Back in the 1950s, parents could raise their children in the inner city. There weren’t shootings every night. Kids didn’t step over dead bodies on the way to school in the morning. Then the Democrats rolled out their grand vote buying welfare programs, absolving people of responsibility for taking care of themselves. The more irresponsibility a Democrat voter engaged in, the more welfare money they got.

Then the crime rate exploded. More welfare, more housing projects, the more the crime increased. Now, Democrat voting inner city strongholds are hellholes of crime and violence. Shootings and murder are a regular way of life. Rapes and robberies are common as well. Many Democrat strongholds like Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, and others have thousands of robberies every year.

In this story, a doctor discusses how doctors train in emergency rooms in Democrat voting strongholds so they can learn how to treat soldiers wounded in combat. The story mentions how there are many times more people killed in the inner cities every year than killed in Iraq.

In America, there are about 16,500 people murdered each year. The majority of these murders occur in Democrat inner cities and are committed by the Democrats’ most coveted voters.

Let me ask you this: why do Democrat voters keep electing Democrats when it is plain as day that the Democrats are the ones who are responsible for all the crime and violence? Consider that Democrat strongholds have the lowest academic achievement in the modernized world. The answer is that Democrats are stupid. Failures in school, failures in life. Stupid is as stupid does. That is the reason Democrats keep power in these communities.

Here’s some news from Democrat-voting cities across America. This kind of stuff is an everyday occurrence in Democratland. This is very rare in Republican-voting communities.

Chicago, IL: A 21-year-old woman was fatally shot in the head while sitting in a car.

Grand Rapids, MI: A 15-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl were shot and wounded in a drive-by shooting.

Philadelphia, PA: Three people murdered in a bar shooting.

Annapolis, MD: A member of the Democrats’ most loyal voting base walks up to a group of people and murders a man.

Oakland, CA: A man was shot and his female passenger killed while driving down Martin Luther King Junior Way.

Crime in these communities wasn’t this bad until Democrats cemented control. In fact, you can trace the rise of societal destruction in these cities to the time when they had their last Republican mayors. Right after they had their last Republican mayors crime skyrocketed.

I could go on and on with these news stories–but I don’t have the time! There is so much senseless crime and violence in Democrat-voting strongholds it is hard to imagine what it must be like to live in such conditions. Republican communities, by contrast, are mostly peaceful and prosperous–low crime, low violence, and murder is a rarity.

Hey, you want to know a secret? The majority of these shootings are committed by blacks and to a lesser extent by Hispanics. Both groups are loyal DFL voters. So don’t expect the DFL to do anything to stop this senseless murder and violence. Democrats don’t want to offend their most loyal voting blocs.

You see, being such colossal frauds and phonies, Democrats are more concerned about offending people than they are about innocent people being senselessly murdered. It’s about appearances and votes with the DFL.

The Democratic Party has a 40-plus year track record of destroying communities. Yet people are still dumb enough to vote for the DFL. Why?

We’ve heard the argument many times before: immigrants are coming to America to do the jobs that Americans won’t do. This argument is used by proponents of open borders to attempt to convince people to allow more immigrants into America by making the argument an economic one.

But here is something interesting to consider: there are millions of Americans on the welfare rolls right now who could, and should, be doing those jobs, but they don’t have to because the Democrats lavish them with generous welfare benefits for not working.

Why should some Democrat voter get off her fat, lazy ass and get a job when all she has to do is apply for welfare benefits? She gets free food, subsidized or free housing, free medical care, and even a cash payment for not working. Thanks to the Democrats, she’s got it made.

There are plenty of jobs people don’t want to do. Even doctors have to do things they don’t want to do like give prostate exams. Lots of us have had jobs that we hated, myself included. But we did them because we had no other choice.

So why do Democrats give the welfare class the choice of working or not working? It’s because the Democrats want votes. They tax the workers and give the money to lazy welfare parasites to buy votes. It’s that simple. Democrats buy votes with welfare benefits and cash payments.

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards are promising ever-greater welfare benefits at every campaign stop because that is what the welfare class wants. And Democrats, being the panderers that they are, are willing to screw over the majority of working Americans to win the votes of the welfare losers.

Democrats screw over America in multiple ways. They reward lazy, uneducated, unskilled losers with generous welfare benefits. Then, there is a resultant shortage of unskilled labor because millions of people are on welfare, so America has to rely on immigrants, many illegal, to do those jobs that Democrat voters should be doing.

There are millions of able-bodied people in America who have spent their entire lives on welfare because of the Democrats. Immigrants aren’t doing the jobs Americans don’t want to do, they are doing the jobs Americans don’t have to do thanks to the Democratic Party.

The Democrat-favoring Amnesty For Illegal Aliens Bill Of 2007 (S. 1639) was killed on a cloture vote today in the United States Senate.

The vote was 46 for and 53 against ending debate so the bill could move forward. Sixty votes are required for cloture. (Roll Call Vote)

Of the Democrats, 34 voted for (including former Democrat, now Independent, Lieberman) and 15 Democrats voted against; Democrat-leaning Socialist Sanders (Independent) also voted against.

Opening up the floodgates to uneducated, unskilled immigrants and rewarding lawbreakers is a terrible idea. Of course, Democrats would benefit greatly as they have a lock on the underclass vote. Uneducated people love Democrats.

Democrats received roughly 60% of the Hispanic vote in 2004. That share rose to about 70% in the 2006 election, largely as a result of Republican opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants–most of whom are Hispanic.

New Orleans, a city run by Democrats and overwhelmingly populated by Democrats, is returning to normal. Normal for a Democrat-voting community is sky-high crime and violence! (Story)

In all fairness, crime was high in New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, just as it is in every Democrat stronghold. So why is this newsworthy when it wasn’t before? Democrats will use this publicity as a method of getting more taxpayer money so they can lavish miscreants with more welfare benefits, most likely.

Too bad these Democrat morons don’t realize that it is the welfare system which rewards laziness and irresponsibility that is largely to blame for the societal destruction plaguing every Democrat community in America.

Compare middle-class Republican voting strongholds versus Democrat strongholds at the community level. Which has the higher crime and violence? Which is peaceful and prosperous? Which is characterized by well-kept homes and manicured lawns? Which is characterized by litter-strewn streets and graffiti everywhere?

There is no doubt that the Democratic Party and their loyal voters are directly responsible for rampant crime and violence plaguing Democrat communities. And with academic achievement so dismally low in DFL strongholds, it isn’t likely the voting populace is going to come to its senses any time soon. If they are too dumb to read beyond an eighth-grade level, they aren’t smart enough to make a wise decision at the polls.

Don’t expect Democrat politicians to say anything about this, either. The last thing they want to do is alienate their loyal welfare-loser voting base–no matter how many thousands of Democrat voters are senselessly murdered every year.

Convicted felons, murders and rapists, welfare losers, skidrow drunks–the DFL needs every vote it can get.

Here’s a little challenge to all Democrat voters out there:

Name one Democrat-voting stronghold that isn’t a hellhole of crime and violence.

If you look at just about every community in America that votes 65% or higher for Democrats, you will notice a few characteristics:

• High crime
• High violence
• Lowest academic achievement in the modernized world

These characteristics can be found in every region of the country where Democrats enjoy a comfortable majority. In many, if not most of these communities, the rise in crime and violence can be traced to the time immediately following when the city had its last Republican mayor. There will be more on this later.

Crime, violence, low academic achievement–all are hallmarks of Democrat strongholds. Isn’t it painfully obvious that the Democratic Party is a miserable failure?
