The blatant hypocrisy of liberals never ceases to amaze.  While U2 frontman Bono is out telling world leaders that they must spend more of their citizens’ money to help the “poor” around the world, he was starting a private equity investment fund.

It’s bad enough when you demand that average people give up more of their money to help people you could help yourself with your own money, but to start a private equity fund to invest in companies to try to make more money takes the cake.  Bono easily makes a few hundred thousand dollars with every concert performance — and they are currently on tour.  Does he need more money?  Why isn’t he giving his money away to help the “poor” he pretends to care about?  Why is Bono investing his money to make more money when there are poor Africans starving to death and dying of disease that he could be helping?

It looks like there will be no shortage of hypocrisy in the Obama administration.

In less than three months in office, Obama has displayed hypocrisy at every turn from signing a lucrative book deal just before taking office to cranking up the thermostat in the White House when he previously said that people wouldn’t be able to keep their homes as warm as they’d like because of the need to reduce carbon emissions.  He nominated a total of six tax cheaters to high-ranking government positions while demanding higher taxation on all Americans.  He pretended to be outraged about the AIG retention bonuses, which were later revealed to have been made possible by his administration lobbying Congress to exempt prior bonus agreements for bailout recipients.  Now, it looks like his chief economic advisor made millions of dollars last year from hedge funds and Wall Street.

Lawrence Summers, director of the White House’s National Economic Council, was paid $5.2 million by hedge fund D.E. Shaw in the past year.  Not only did he make millions from a hedge fund, an industry Democrats love to demonize, but Summers also made $2.7 million in speaking fees, some of which came from troubled Wall Street investment firms.

These Democrats pretend to be opposed to “big business”, Wall Street, and inequitable wealth, but they sure like to make as much money for themselves as possible whenever the opportunity presents itself.

The Democratic Party has made its market among the unthinking.  All they have to do is to say the things their voting base wants to hear and they will get votes and campaign cash no matter how hypocritical their behavior is.

Idiot-in-chief Barack Obama has nominated another Democrat tax cheater for a high-ranking federal post.  Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, nominated by Obama to be Health and Human Services Secretary after former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle withdrew his nomination, admitted to “errors” in paying her taxes to the tune of $7,040.  She is paying that–only after getting caught–plus $878 in interest.

So nice of these Democrats to not pay their taxes while demanding that all Americans pay more, isn’t it?  This is the sixth tax cheater Obama has nominated for cabinet and high-ranking government positions.  The list of Obama tax cheaters are:

Just days before being inaugurated as President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama signed a book deal with Crown Publishing that gave him a $250,000 cash advance.

On Janurary 15th, Obama inked the deal with Crown for an abridged version of his crappy book “Dreams From My Father” aimed at children.  Since it is based on an Obama book, it must be targeted toward kids with severe learning disabilities.  Nobody else would want to read that garbage.  In addition to the huge cash advance, he will receive a percentage of sales.

If Democrat-leaning teachers force their kids to read this book, it could mean millions of dollars in royalties for Obama.  What could Obama give teachers to gain their endearment so they will make their students read his book?  Obama has a long history of using his position of power for financial gain.  I suspect he will do the same here.

Barack Obama is a massive hypocrite.  He drones on and on in his speeches about “economic inequality”, “income inequality”, and the horrors of class disparities.  So what does he do days before taking office?  He grabs as much cash as he can.  Obama represents that very economic inequality that he says is so dangerous to our society.  Every move he makes is designed to line his pockets.  His supporters are too dumb to realize it.

It was also reported that Obama made $2.5 million in book royalties last year.  Before he ran for President, his books did not sell very many copies.  After he announced, his book sales took off.

Obama has gotten very rich off of his run for the Presidency.  Millions of Americans have lost their jobs since Obama was elected.  Trillions of dollars in stock market wealth has evaporated.  But Obama is making millions.

Democrat Ron Kirk, former mayor of Dallas, Texas, was picked by Obama to be chief trade representative.  It turns out that he didn’t properly pay his taxes to the tune of around $10,000.

Democrats love raising taxes and writing complex tax laws, but they don’t like paying their own!

A few days ago, it was revealed that President Barack Obama’s pick for Labor Secretary, Hilda Solis, has tax issues.  Her husband failed to pay taxes going back to 1993.  His business had a $6,400 lien on it.  They plead ignorance.

So, we have another Democrat tax deadbeat picked by Obama to head up a government agency.  The list of Obama tax cheaters who failed to properly pay their taxes thus far is:

Geithner was approved by the Senate.  Daschle and Killefer withdrew their nominations.  It looks like Solis will be approved.

And I won’t mention the lobbyists working in the Obama administration in violation of Obama’s own executive order prohibiting them.  Ex-defense contractor lobbyist William J. Lynn was approved as deputy Secretary of Defense after being given an exemption to Obama’s own ethics rules by Obama himself.  Last year, Lynn earned nearly half-a-million dollars working as a lobbyist for Raytheon.

Not even liberals want to live under their own rules, as Obama has proven many times over the past few years.

Liberals were all giddy when Obama issued ethics rules barring people from working in his administration if they had worked as lobbyists within two years of their employment date.  Too bad those liberals were too stupid to see it as an empty, insincere order that Obama never intended to follow.

Just three weeks into his administration, Obama has produced one failure after another.  It is going to be a long, dreadful four years.

A few days ago at stop in Florida to promote his non-stimulative stimulus plan, Barack Obama was asked a tearful a question by a homeless black woman by the name of Henrietta Hughes.  She wanted help.  She wanted welfare (surprise, surprise!).  She was seeking the President’s assistance in getting public housing.  Oh, how sad.

You see, despite living 61 years of life, neither the woman nor her 37-year-old idiot son Cory have managed to save any money.  Nope.  They packed their belongings and moved from Rochester, NY, to Florida last year.  Did they have any jobs lined up?  No.  Did they have any money to support themselves when they got to Florida?  No.  They moved to Florida on borrowed money.  After the money ran out, they found themselves homeless, sleeping in a Nissan pickup truck.  They wanted the President’s help to secure long-term public housing so they would never have to worry about taking care of themselves again.  The worthless loser Henrietta Hughes said to the President:

The housing authority has two years waiting list and we need something more than parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help.

And Ms. Hughes wants the taxpayers to pay for it.  This is so typical of Democrats, isn’t it?

Luckily for her, President Obama promised to help.  But how will he help?  I’ll tell you how Obama won’t help her:  by giving her his own money.

You see, Barack Obama is a multimillionaire.  He is a very wealthy man.  The Obamas had a household income of $4.2 million in 2007, and likely will have made much more in 2008.  As President, Obama gets a salary of $400,000 per year and a generous pension when he leaves office.

So, if Obama wants to help the woman, why doesn’t he give her some of his own money?  Why doesn’t he give her 25% of his annual salary so she can buy a small two-bedroom house someplace where living expenses are low?  Or, why doesn’t Obama dip into his savings account and give this woman $150,000 in cash so she can find a decent place to live?  He would still have millions left in his bank account.  Obama will never do this because he doesn’t truly care.  Obama’s compassion only extends as far as using other people’s money to help others, but never his own.  If you look at his charitable giving, you will see that it amounts to only a small percentage of his income.

All liberals are liars, frauds, and hypocrites.  Rich limousine liberals, like Barack Obama, who have more money than they could ever reasonably spend in their lifetimes, are the biggest hypocrites of all.  Their hearts bleed for the homeless and the irresponsible, but they never give away their own money to help those they pretend to care about.

Democrats love raising taxes, but they sure don’t like paying their own.

Three of Barack Hussein Obama’s appointees have been revealed to be tax cheaters.  One of them, Timothy Geithner, made it through the Senate confirmation process to become Obama’s Treasury Secretary.  Two have been thrown under the bus by Obama.

President Hussein Obama has accepted the withdrawals of two of his picks for posts in his administration after it was revealed that the Democrats didn’t properly their taxes.

Former Senate majority leader Tom Daschle withdrew his nomination for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.  Daschle failed to pay taxes on fringe benefits.  He recently filed amended tax returns and paid about $140,000 in back taxes and interest related to his use of a car and chauffer provided by his employer, a longtime Democrat fundraiser.

You may recall that when Daschle was Senate majority leader, he proposed numerous tax increases and changes to the tax code that would have made it even more complex and difficult to comply with.  Now, it looks like he has been bitten by the very tax laws he helped to write.  Daschle also had been criticized for doing work after his ouster from the Senate that amounted to lobbying.  Daschle was hired by a Democrat operative’s private equity company and was paid $1 million per year for his services.

In an admission of stupidity, President Hussein Obama said that he is at fault for picking Daschle in the first place.  Obama said:

I think I screwed up.  And I take responsibility for it and we’re going to make sure we fix it so it doesn’t happen again.

As incompetent and unqualified as Obama is to be President, you better get used to him saying things like that.  He’s going to be saying that a lot.

Obama also said the following:

And I don’t want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards–one for powerful people and one for ordinary folks who are working every day and paying their taxes.

If that’s the case, then perhaps Mr. Obama should look at his own hypocritical behavior.  From earning an “inequitable” income while speaking out against economic inequality, to driving a gas guzzler while demanding that Americans drive tiny, dangerous cars, to turning up the thermostat in the White House to the point where people sweat while saying that Americans can’t keep their homes as warm as they would like, Obama engages in hypocritical behavior at every turn.

Perhaps Obama should try applying his standards to himself sometime.

To make matters worse, Obama’s pick for deputy White House budget director, Nancy Killefer, had to withdraw her nomination because of a “personal tax issue”.  Killefer allegedly did not properly pay taxes for domestic servants at her home.  She had a $946.69 lien on her home for failure to pay employment taxes.

Don’t you just love these Democrat hypocrites?

It seems that being filthy rich makes some people tightwads.  Hillary Clinton still owes $5.9 million to vendors following her failed 2008 Presidential campaign.  Last year, the Clintons reported that they were worth an estimated $50 million, with the couple having earned over $100 million during the prior seven years.

Hillary and Bill sold off all their stock investments early in the 2008 campaign to avoid criticism from the liberal wing of the Democratic Party base.  They avoided the losses resulting from the down stock market.  They should still have close to $50 million left.

So why won’t Hillary pay her debts?  She is still rich, with more money than she could spend in her lifetime.  But she will not pay her bills.

Hillary is just another limousine liberal hypocrite fraud.  She runs around saying that income inequality is unfair.  She demonizes rich people.  She wants to steal more money from people through higher taxation.  But at the end of the day, this rich bitch doesn’t want to part with her own money to pay her own debts.  Instead, she swallows any shred of dignity that her constantly cheating husband left her with and goes begging strangers for money.

It looks like Barack Hussein Obama has another tax cheat as a cabinet pick.  You may recall his pick for Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Geithner, did not pay self-employment taxes for a few years while working at the United Nations.  This time, it is his pick for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Tom Daschle, that is creating a bit of a scandal.

You may recall that Tom Daschle used to be a Senator.  In fact, he used to be the Senate majority leader and was the chief architect of the Democrats’ blocking of oil drilling in the early 2000s.  Daschle was defeated by his Republican opponent in the 2004 South Dakota US Senate election and, until the Obama election, was relegated to the Democrat dustbin of forgotten hypocrites.

Since leaving the Senate, he has made a lot of money for himself.  He took a job with K-Street law firm where he was a “public policy advisor” offering “strategic advice” to businesses with matters before Congress.  Even though he wasn’t technically a lobbyist, his wife has been a registered lobbyist for years.  Daschle’s salary at K-Street was estimated to be between $800,000 to $1,000,000 per year.

Daschle in the past had spoken out on behalf of the poor and impoverished.  In July, 2008, Daschle said, “We have a moral obligation to assist those suffering from abject poverty and disease.”  Daschle also pushed for higher taxes on upper income people when he was in the Senate.

But he certainly likes to make money for himself and enjoy life’s luxuries, as you will see.  And he doesn’t like paying his taxes that he thinks everyone else should pay, either.

Daschle later joined InterMedia Advisors , a private equity firm owned by a rich Democratic Party fundraiser by the name of Leo Hindery Jr., as a “consultant” and “chairman of the executive advisory board”.  This is where Daschle’s tax problems begin.

Daschle was paid $2 million last year by the private equity firm that employed him.  Yes, $2 million.  But he never paid taxes on the chauffeur service his employer provided for him for years as required under the laws he helped write.  This was uncovered as part of the vetting process to become secretary of HHS.  So, Daschle did what every Democrat tax cheat does when caught red-handed:  he pleaded ignorance and paid the back taxes and interest.  In this case, Daschle paid $101,943 in back taxes and interest on the car and driver he was given by his boss.

What we have here is another Democrat fraud and hypocrite.  Daschle demanded higher taxes when he was a Senator, but he did not pay the income taxes due on the fringe benefits provided to him by his wealthy Democrat employer.  Daschle criticized the rich many times, but it turns out that he, himself, is very rich.  He spoke out against income inequality, but he did everything he could to get himself an inequitable income when he had the opportunity, using his political connections to do so.

Are you getting tired of the lies, fraud, and hypocrisy that is the modern Democratic Party?  I am.  Too bad the Democrat voting base isn’t smart enough to realize that the party they support represents everything they claim to be opposed to.

With each passing day, Barack Obama further demonstrates what a disgusting, rotten piece of shit he is.

This week, it’s home heating hypocrisy.

Several news outlets ran stories yesterday about the changes Barack Obama has made in the White House since being inaugurated President.  One of them:  cranking up the thermostat.

In the past, Obama has said that Americans must conserve energy.  We must turn down our thermostats.  We must reduce our carbon dioxide emissions.  We can’t keep our homes as warm as we want.  Obama said the following on May 16, 2008, about global warming:

We are also, though, going have to negotiate with other countries. China, India, in particular Brazil. They are growing so fast that they are consuming more and more energy, and pretty soon, if their carpet footprint even approaches ours, we’re goners. If we lead by example — if we lead by example, then we can actually export and license technology that have been invented here to help them deal with their growth pain. But keep in mind, you’re right. We can’t tell them, don’t grow. We can’t — drive our SUVs and you know, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on you know, 72 degrees at all times, and whether we’re living in the desert or we’re living in the tundra, and then just expect that every other country’s going say OK.

You guys go ahead and keep on using 25 percent of the world’s energy. Even though you only account for 3 percent of the population, and we’ll be fine. Don’t worry about us. That’s not — that’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen.

Obama said we can’t keep our thermostats at a comfortable 72 degrees because of global warming and America’s inequitable consumption of the world’s energy resources.  (I keep my thermostat at 71 degrees.)

So, what does the dirty fraud do?  He turns up the thermostat at the White House so high that people sweat just sitting around!

Rather, the first Hawaiian-born U.S. president keeps the temperature in the Oval Office high, which has led the economist to break out in occasional sweats during their daily economic briefing.

Thus yet again, Obama demonstrates he is a liar and a hypocrite.  He keeps the thermostat so high that the heat inside the White House makes his staff sweat.  But we Americans cannot keep our thermostats at a comfortable temperature.  But Obama, liberal elist, can.

Obama said last year that using disproportionate amounts of energy was not leadership.  So what kind of leadership is Obama demonstrating by cranking up the thermostat?

Only a total and complete idiot could support a liar, fraud, and hypocrite like Barack Obama.  He is trying to control the lives of all Americans, radically changing our way of life, yet he refuses to live by the same rules he wants to impose on us.

Do as Obama says, not as he does.

Parade Magazine reported yesterday that Speaker of the House, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, drove an SUV.  She drove a Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

According to Parade, Pelosi’s office will not reveal the type of vehicle she currently drives.

The last year with fuel economy data for the particular model Pelosi drove is 1991.  According to the federal government’s fuel economy website, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer got an estimated 10 mpg. in the city and 12 mpg. on the highway.

Nancy Pelosi is a filthy hypocrite!  She single-handedly blocked expanded offshore oil drilling in the House last year saying that Americans must learn to conserve gasoline.  Then we find out that she used to drive a big, gas guzzling SUV!

She could have chosen a smaller, more fuel-efficient car back in 1991.  The 1991 Honda Civic, for example, got an estimated 28/33 mpg.

I’ll bet the true reason Pelosi won’t reveal the type of car she drives now is because it is a high-buck, luxury gas guzzler.

Liberals are all the same.  They are all liars, frauds, and hypocrites.

Barack Obama’s old car was up for auction on eBay.  What kind of car did he drive?  Given his demands for higher fuel economy and insistence that all Americans drive small, deathtrap cars that crush like pop cans in a crash, you would expect the new President to have practiced what he preached and driven a small, fuel-efficient car himself.  But he didn’t. He drove a big gas guzzler.

Barack Obama’s old car is a 2005 Chrysler 300C.  It has an 8-cylinder Hemi engine.  It is a high-performance, luxury sedan with a 340-horsepower motor, leather interior, and all the accoutrements one would expect.

After being criticized for hypocrisy, Obama sold the gas guzzler early in his presidential campaign and bought a hybrid in a gesture of hollow symbolism intended to appease his mindless liberal followers who are too stupid to realize what a fraud he is.

So, what kind of fuel economy did Obama’s car get?  What kind of gas mileage did his Chrysler 300C with its high-performance V-8 Hemi achieve?  How many miles per gallon was the car rated at by the EPA?

According to the government’s fuel economy website, the fuel economy for a Chrysler 300C with an eight-cylinder engine is 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.

But does this make Barack Obama a hypocrite?  Absolutely it does.  My car, for example, is rated at 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway–much better than Obama’s.  But that isn’t good enough for President Obama.  Obama thinks I should drive a smaller car.  Obama thinks I should drive a tiny, uncomfortable, dangerous car that affords no protection in a crash.

On May 7th, 2007, Barack Obama criticized automakers on their fuel economy.

Senator Barack Obama of Illinois delivered a stern message to Detroit auto companies on Monday, saying they had done little to lessen the nation’s dependence on foreign oil and needed to improve the fuel efficiency of their vehicles.

Under Mr. Obama’s plan, which he said would save 2.5 million barrels of oil a day, he proposed a 4 percent a year increase in fuel economy standards beginning in 2009, or the equivalent of about one mile per gallon per year.

The current federal standards are 27.5 miles per gallon for cars and 24 miles per gallon for light trucks.

When Obama had the choice to purchase a small, fuel-efficient car or a big gas guzzler, he of his own freewill chose a gas guzzler.  Then the fraud has the audacity to criticize automakers for their fuel economy when his own vehicle got significantly less than the then-current federal standards.

As President, Obama plans to ram unattainable fuel economy standards down the throats of Americans who do not want to drive small, European-style cars with no leg-room.  Obama himself didn’t want to drive one of those cars.  We know this because he didn’t buy one when he had the chance.  So why does he demand that we Americans drive those small cars?

It’s because Obama is an elitist liberal.  He, being an elitist liberal, is entitled to live his life differently than the way he wants to force us to live ours.  He, as a liberal, is entitled to accumulate wealth and make millions of dollars per year, we are not.  He, as a liberal, is entitled to drive big, gas-guzzling cars, we are not.

That is so typical of liberals.  It is impossible to be a liberal unless you are a massive hypocrite.  Not even liberals want to live under their own standards.
