It seems that being filthy rich makes some people tightwads.  Hillary Clinton still owes $5.9 million to vendors following her failed 2008 Presidential campaign.  Last year, the Clintons reported that they were worth an estimated $50 million, with the couple having earned over $100 million during the prior seven years.

Hillary and Bill sold off all their stock investments early in the 2008 campaign to avoid criticism from the liberal wing of the Democratic Party base.  They avoided the losses resulting from the down stock market.  They should still have close to $50 million left.

So why won’t Hillary pay her debts?  She is still rich, with more money than she could spend in her lifetime.  But she will not pay her bills.

Hillary is just another limousine liberal hypocrite fraud.  She runs around saying that income inequality is unfair.  She demonizes rich people.  She wants to steal more money from people through higher taxation.  But at the end of the day, this rich bitch doesn’t want to part with her own money to pay her own debts.  Instead, she swallows any shred of dignity that her constantly cheating husband left her with and goes begging strangers for money.

It looks like Barack Hussein Obama has another tax cheat as a cabinet pick.  You may recall his pick for Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Geithner, did not pay self-employment taxes for a few years while working at the United Nations.  This time, it is his pick for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Tom Daschle, that is creating a bit of a scandal.

You may recall that Tom Daschle used to be a Senator.  In fact, he used to be the Senate majority leader and was the chief architect of the Democrats’ blocking of oil drilling in the early 2000s.  Daschle was defeated by his Republican opponent in the 2004 South Dakota US Senate election and, until the Obama election, was relegated to the Democrat dustbin of forgotten hypocrites.

Since leaving the Senate, he has made a lot of money for himself.  He took a job with K-Street law firm where he was a “public policy advisor” offering “strategic advice” to businesses with matters before Congress.  Even though he wasn’t technically a lobbyist, his wife has been a registered lobbyist for years.  Daschle’s salary at K-Street was estimated to be between $800,000 to $1,000,000 per year.

Daschle in the past had spoken out on behalf of the poor and impoverished.  In July, 2008, Daschle said, “We have a moral obligation to assist those suffering from abject poverty and disease.”  Daschle also pushed for higher taxes on upper income people when he was in the Senate.

But he certainly likes to make money for himself and enjoy life’s luxuries, as you will see.  And he doesn’t like paying his taxes that he thinks everyone else should pay, either.

Daschle later joined InterMedia Advisors , a private equity firm owned by a rich Democratic Party fundraiser by the name of Leo Hindery Jr., as a “consultant” and “chairman of the executive advisory board”.  This is where Daschle’s tax problems begin.

Daschle was paid $2 million last year by the private equity firm that employed him.  Yes, $2 million.  But he never paid taxes on the chauffeur service his employer provided for him for years as required under the laws he helped write.  This was uncovered as part of the vetting process to become secretary of HHS.  So, Daschle did what every Democrat tax cheat does when caught red-handed:  he pleaded ignorance and paid the back taxes and interest.  In this case, Daschle paid $101,943 in back taxes and interest on the car and driver he was given by his boss.

What we have here is another Democrat fraud and hypocrite.  Daschle demanded higher taxes when he was a Senator, but he did not pay the income taxes due on the fringe benefits provided to him by his wealthy Democrat employer.  Daschle criticized the rich many times, but it turns out that he, himself, is very rich.  He spoke out against income inequality, but he did everything he could to get himself an inequitable income when he had the opportunity, using his political connections to do so.

Are you getting tired of the lies, fraud, and hypocrisy that is the modern Democratic Party?  I am.  Too bad the Democrat voting base isn’t smart enough to realize that the party they support represents everything they claim to be opposed to.

This week, it’s home heating hypocrisy.

Several news outlets ran stories yesterday about the changes Barack Obama has made in the White House since being inaugurated President.  One of them:  cranking up the thermostat.

In the past, Obama has said that Americans must conserve energy.  We must turn down our thermostats.  We must reduce our carbon dioxide emissions.  We can’t keep our homes as warm as we want.  Obama said the following on May 16, 2008, about global warming:

Obama said we can’t keep our thermostats at a comfortable 72 degrees because of global warming and America’s inequitable consumption of the world’s energy resources.  (I keep my thermostat at 71 degrees.)

So, what does the dirty fraud do?  He turns up the thermostat at the White House so high that people sweat just sitting around!

Thus yet again, Obama demonstrates he is a liar and a hypocrite.  He keeps the thermostat so high that the heat inside the White House makes his staff sweat.  But we Americans cannot keep our thermostats at a comfortable temperature.  But Obama, liberal elist, can.

Obama said last year that using disproportionate amounts of energy was not leadership.  So what kind of leadership is Obama demonstrating by cranking up the thermostat?

Only a total and complete idiot could support a liar, fraud, and hypocrite like Barack Obama.  He is trying to control the lives of all Americans, radically changing our way of life, yet he refuses to live by the same rules he wants to impose on us.

Disgraced Illinois Governor, Democrat Rod Blagojevich, was removed from office today.  The Illinois state Senate voted unanimously to throw the impeached governor out of office.

Not only did the Senate remove him, but they voted to prevent Blagojevich from ever holding public office in the state again.  Blago has not yet been convicted of a crime in a court of law.

Blagojevich was charged with corruption and other crimes in December of last year after the FBI taped conversations involving the alleged sale of President Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat and other pay-for-play activities.

Multimillionaire fraud and massive polluter Al Gore testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about the need for action against global warming today during a time when much of America is suffering from a harsher-than-normal winter.  Gore said that passing Obama’s stimulus plan would be a “down payment” on curbing global warming.

Remember, Al Gore is chairman and has an ownership stake in a company that was set up to trade carbon credits, Generation Investment Management, LLP.  If the Democrats enact their cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions, Al Gore is going to make many millions, if not billions of dollars.

You must realize what a fraud and hypocrite Al Gore truly is.  He doesn’t care about global warming.  His actions speak louder than his words.

Al Gore made a fortune on the speaking circuit giving speeches about global warming.  For a $100,000 speaking fee, Gore would fly out and speak to a group of people for 70-minutes, then conduct a short 10-minute question-and-answer session.  When Gore didn’t travel to these events by private jet, he demanded that first-class round-trip plane tickets be purchased for him, along with a luxury hotel suite so he could freshen-up before his presentation.

Gore’s mansion used 20 times the electricity of the average American home.  His natural gas bill averaged about $1,080 per month.

After being publicly revealed to be a fraud and hypocrite, environmentalist Al Gore invested a few of his millions of dollars to make his home more energy efficient.  This resulted in Gore using even more global warming-causing electricity than before.

In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, President of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”

Remember:  Al Gore has spoken out many times against greed and the rich, and the need for higher taxes to help the poor.  But he sure likes to live a lavish lifestyle, doesn’t he?  He doesn’t give much of his own money away to help the poor he pretends to care about, does he?  Nor does he put much effort into reducing his own carbon dioxide emissions.  First class air travel, energy-guzzling mansions, luxury hotel suites…  Al Gore knows how to live it up.

Only a fool could support Al Gore or give any credibility to anything he says given his hypocrisy.  If Al Gore truly cared about the environment, he wouldn’t be releasing so much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere with his personal electricity and natural gas usage.  He wouldn’t be flying around on jets giving speeches about global warming and telling others to pollute less.

Most of all, if Al Gore truly cared about the environment, he wouldn’t charge people $100,000 for an hour worth of work to try and stop global warming.  He would be doing it for free.  After all, Al Gore is already rich.  He doesn’t need more money.  So if he cared about the environment, he would be spreading his message for free.  But he isn’t.

One more thing:  Al Gore excused his excessive pollution because he purchased carbon offsets.  Who did he purchase them from?  Himself!  He bought carbon offsets from Generation Investment Management, LLP, a company in which he has an ownership stake.

Shhh!  Don’t tell Al Gore, but the year 2008 was significantly below average in temperature and we are in the middle of a colder-than-normal winter.  In fact, January has been 5.3 degrees Fahrenheit below average where I am.

Moreover, we must face up to this urgent and unprecedented threat to the existence of our civilization at a time when our country must simultaneously solve two other worsening crises.

The earth has warmed and cooled many times over the millennia, Albert.  It will continue to do so, you idiot.

As long as we continue to send hundreds of billions of dollars for foreign oil — year after year — to the most dangerous and unstable regions of the world, our national security will continue to be at risk.

That wouldn’t be the case if Democrats didn’t block domestic oil drilling all decade long.  Al Gore opposed domestic oil drilling during the 2000 Presidential campaign.

Most importantly, as long as we continue to depend on dirty fossil fuels like coal and oil to meet our energy needs, and dump 70 million tons of global warming pollution into the thin shell of atmosphere surrounding our planet, we move closer and closer to several dangerous tipping points which scientists have repeatedly warned – again just yesterday – will threaten to make it impossible for us to avoid irretrievable destruction of the conditions that make human civilization possible on this planet.

Meanwhile, Al Gore flies around on private jets and lives in mansions.  Talk about hypocrisy.  Do as Al Gore says, and not as he does, apparently.

We’re borrowing money from China to buy oil from the Persian Gulf to burn it in ways that destroy the planet. Every bit of that’s got to change.

Obama wants to borrow money from China to fund his bogus $825 billion stimulus plan, which is nothing more than give-aways to his supporters.  Gore doesn’t seem to be complaining about that.  I wonder why…

For years our efforts to address the growing climate crisis have been undermined by the idea that we must choose between our planet and our way of life; between our moral duty and our economic well being.

Al Gore isn’t even willing to make that choice, judging from how much energy his mansion uses and how much he travels to make more money for himself.

These are false choices. In fact, the solutions to the climate crisis are the very same solutions that will address our economic and national security crises as well.

Should we all build energy-guzzling mansions like you, Al?

In order to repower our economy, restore American economic and moral leadership in the world and regain control of our destiny, we must take bold action now.

Does anyone know if Al Gore spent millions of dollars to erect a windmill on his property?  Ah, he probably doesn’t want the beauty of the environment ruined by an ugly wind turbine on his property.  But that won’t stop him from trying to get ugly windmills built in Republican-voting areas.

Quickly building our capacity to generate clean electricity will lay the groundwork for the next major step needed: placing a price on carbon.

And how much would Al Gore have to pay for all the carbon dioxide he releases into the atmosphere?  Oh, I forgot, Gore is a liberal elitist.  We must do as he says, not as he does.  Liberals always exempt themselves from their mandates.

If Congress acts right away to pass President Obama’s Recovery package and then takes decisive action this year to institute a cap-and-trade system for CO 2 emissions – as many of our states and many other countries have already done – the United States will regain its credibility and enter the Copenhagen treaty talks with a renewed authority to lead the world in shaping a fair and effective treaty.

Just the other day, some scientists concluded that global warming could not be stopped for at least a thousand years.  The conclusion was that we could curb CO₂ emissions, but it would have no impact on (mythical) global warming.

Global Warming Cannot Be Stopped

Even if by some miracle of environmental activism global carbon dioxide levels reverted to pre-industrial levels, it still would take 1,000 years or longer for the climate changes already triggered to be reversed, scientists said Monday.

Scientists that Al Gore uses to further his global warming agenda say that if carbon dioxide emissions reverted back to pre-industrial levels, that it would take 1,000 years or longer for climate changes to be reversed.  So, if there is nothing that can be done, why do Democrats insist that we burden individuals and industry with carbon taxes?

Because it is about control.  The solution to every real or perceived problem in the Democrats’ world is more wealth redistribution.  Even if nothing can be done to solve the supposed problem, such as with “climate change”, higher taxation is the answer.  And by taxing people and redistributing that money, Democrats achieve control over people.

The Congressional Budget Office said in a recent report that less than 75% of Obama’s $825 billion stimulus plan will be circulating through the economy by the start of 2011, contrary to Obama’s claims.  The CBO estimates the figure to be 64%.

The Obama camp has as its goal to spend 75% of the stimulus money by 2011, with the remaining 25%, or about $206 billion to be spent in 2011 and beyond.

What lies beyond 2011?  Why, it’s 2012, an election year!

Obama is planning to use $200 billion dollars to help get himself re-elected in 2012.  Obama said that this stimulus money is urgent.  If so, why would he not spend it all immediately?  Why would he hang on to some of it for two or three years?  Because three years from now we’ll be in the midst of an election campaign.

Obama’s stimulus plan will fail miserably.  It was billed to be a plan to put Americans back to work, but do you really think that a 105 lb. secretary who lost her job is going to take a job in heavy construction building bridges or schools?  Is she going to go from a desk job to walking on a steel beam 50 feet off the ground just because of Obama’s stimulus plan?

I’ve said all along that Obama’s stimulus plan was smoke and mirrors.  And it is.  It will take a long time to have any economic impact.  Building roads, bridges, and schools–most of which are unnecessary and will likely be targeted to minority neighborhoods–takes a lot of time.  Projects need to be planned, designed, bid upon, workers need to be hired, supplies must be acquired, etc.  This does not happen in weeks; it takes months, or years.  This is what the Congressional Budget Office had to say according to a Bloomberg article:

The report said the tax cut provisions would have the quickest impact on the economy, with about $208 billion reaching taxpayers by the end of next year. Implementing the proposed government spending would take would longer, the CBO said.

“Lags in spending stem in part from the need to draft plans, solicit bids, enter into contracts, and conduct regulatory or environmental reviews,” the report said. “Spending can be further delayed because some activities are by their nature seasonal. For example, major school repairs are generally scheduled during the summer to avoid disrupting classes, and construction and highway work are difficult to carry out during the winter months in many parts of the country.”

The CBO agrees with Republicans that tax cuts would have the quickest stimulative effect.  Of course, the Obama administration disputes the CBO’s opinion.

In the end, Obama’s stimulus plan amounts to nothing more than paybacks to his loyal supporters.  In his stimulus, there is $726 million for after school snack programs, $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts, and over $4 billion for community groups, such as ACORN, that canvassed minority communities drumming up votes for Obama.  None of this will create jobs.  And this isn’t the extent of the wasteful spending, either.  There is plenty of pork in Obama’s scheme.

Obama’s stimulus plan isn’t designed to stimulate the economy.  It is designed to steer money to those who helped him get elected.  This should surprise no one.  Obama has a long history of steering taxpayer dollars to those who support him.  Tony Rezko is just one of many who benefited financially by supporting Obama.  Now, it is time for liberal artists, inner-city welfare parasites, and community activists like ACORN to benefit from taxpayer dollars.

Pay-for-play Obama strikes again.

Parade Magazine reported yesterday that Speaker of the House, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, drove an SUV.  She drove a Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

According to Parade, Pelosi’s office will not reveal the type of vehicle she currently drives.

The last year with fuel economy data for the particular model Pelosi drove is 1991.  According to the federal government’s fuel economy website, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer got an estimated 10 mpg. in the city and 12 mpg. on the highway.

Nancy Pelosi is a filthy hypocrite!  She single-handedly blocked expanded offshore oil drilling in the House last year saying that Americans must learn to conserve gasoline.  Then we find out that she used to drive a big, gas guzzling SUV!

She could have chosen a smaller, more fuel-efficient car back in 1991.  The 1991 Honda Civic, for example, got an estimated 28/33 mpg.

I’ll bet the true reason Pelosi won’t reveal the type of car she drives now is because it is a high-buck, luxury gas guzzler.

Liberals are all the same.  They are all liars, frauds, and hypocrites.

Hypocrite-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama today demanded higher fuel economy standards for automobiles.

In a prior post (Barack Obama’s Gas Guzzler), we proved that President Obama is a lying hypocrite not willing to live under the same standards he wishes to impose on ordinary Americans.  When he had the choice to purchase a small, fuel-efficient car or a high-performance gas guzzler, he picked a gas guzzler.

The auto industry has been protesting higher fuel-economy standards for years because the technology to make more efficient vehicles that people also want to buy does not exist.  Obama didn’t want a small car, why would he demand that other people buy them?

Obama, King of the Morons, can arbitrarily decide any mileage standards he wants.  That doesn’t mean the technology to achieve them exists.  If the technology did exist, some automaker somewhere in the world would be using it.  There are plenty of other countries that have auto industries not under the control of Obama.

I predict this is all going to blow up in Obama’s face.  Obama is single-handedly working to destroy the American economy.  Obama’s standards won’t create jobs, they will destroy jobs by driving up the cost of vehicles and leaving a marketplace filled with vehicles nobody wants to buy.

This issue involves one of the Democratic Party’s biggest lies:  that auto sales are down because automakers aren’t building cars that people want to buy.

The fact is that Democrats blocked domestic oil drilling all decade.  Democrats were to blame for high gas prices last year and the high prices we will face in the future.  People bought big SUVs not because fuel-efficient cars were unavailable, but because they liked the size, comfort, safety, and utility that they provided.  People wanted big SUVs, and they bought them.  People did not want small cars then, and still do not.

Welcome to Obama’s world.  Freedom of choice no longer exists.  He can have a large, high-performance car, but you cannot.  Obama has spoken.  Be a good little peon and do exactly what he tells you to do.

Democrat Senator John Kerry wrote a piece for CNN.com that appeared on its website yesterday.  In it, Kerry praised Obama for banning harsh, yet effective, interrogation techniques and ordering the closing of terrorist detention facilities around the globe.  Let’s look at a few highlights that demonstrate the shortcomings of the Democrat brain.

Kerry wrote:

In a season of transformational changes, these are among the most meaningful, because they send a powerful message that America’s struggle against terrorism will once against honor some of the most cherished ideals of our republic: respect for the rule of law, individual rights, and America’s moral leadership.

Damn, that John Kerry is an idiot!  Obama’s order last week prohibited waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques, ordered closed terrorist detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay and other clandestine CIA jails around the globe, and basically gave terrorists full protection under the United States Constitution.

Who is the message being sent to?  Did Obama’s executive order send a message to terrorists and others who want to do America harm?  And what is that message?  That it is now easier to commit acts of terrorism against the United States and should you do so, you will be treated humanely, unlike your treatment of civilians whom you targeted with acts of terrorism?

The only message Obama sent is a message of cowardice and weakness.  But hey, it isn’t surprising that a man named “Hussein” would make it easier for terrorists to commit terrorism, is it?

Kerry continued:

The president understands all too well that the threat our nation faces from terrorism is all too real. And we should all agree that sometimes, in the name of national security, it is necessary to make difficult ethical decisions to protect the American people.

How is closing terrorist detention facilities going to make America safer?  How can anyone–even someone with a defective brain like a liberal–possibly argue that letting dangerous terror suspects out of jail is a good way of protecting the American people?

Kerry further adds:

However, I and many others believe that the use of torture and indefinite detention have not only tarnished our honor but also diminished our security.

Uh, how so, John?  It has been proven that waterboarding provided actionable intelligence which prevented terrorist plots from being carried-out.  It has also been proven that a few terror suspects released from Guantanamo have joined terror groups and participated in terrorism.  These are bad people, you money-marrying moron.  How can you possibly argue that letting them out of jail makes America safer?

Kerry continues:

In this global counterinsurgency effort against al Qaeda and its allies, too often our means have undercut our efforts by wasting one of our best weapons: the legitimacy that comes from our moral authority.

How stupid must you be to say something like that?  Do you think Bin Laden, or any other terrorist, gives a rat’s ass about America’s “moral authority”?  Do you think they sit around and say, “America has stopped pouring water on the faces of our beloved terrorists thanks to Barack Hussein Obama.  Therefore, we will now cease all acts of terrorism and live in peace with our fellow man.”?

Liberals do not rely on facts to form viewpoints and they confuse allegory with real facts.  There is not a terrorist in the world who is going to look at America’s “moral authority” when determining whether or not to carry out an act of terrorism.  Only a liberal idiot would dare make such a suggestion.

Kerry continues:

Torture plays directly into a central tenet of al Qaeda’s recruiting pitch: that everyday Muslims across the world have something to fear from the United States of America.

Worst of all, what Kerry has done is blame America for terrorism instead of blaming the terrorists who commit the civilian-targeting bombings.

Did Clinton “torture”?  No.  Did acts of terrorism occur under Clinton?  Yes.  Several occurred.  And 9/11 was plotted while Clinton was still President.

Obviously, treating terrorists with respect and treating terrorism as a criminal act instead of an act of war, which the Clinton administration did and the Obama administration plans to do, does nothing to stop terrorism.  The Clinton administration did nothing after the World Trade Center bombing in 1993 to prevent Al Qaeda from committing terrorism against American targets around the globe and here at home.  The result:  Al Qaeda continued to flourish and commit acts of terrorism undaunted by Clinton’s kid-gloves treatment.

As a matter of fact, Bill Clinton could have had Bin Laden killed or possibly captured in the mid-1990s, but refused to do so because he did not believe we had a sufficient basis for criminal charges on which to hold Bin Laden.

What happened?  Bin Laden roamed free because of the Democrats and committed 9/11 which killed 3,000 people on American soil.

That’s how wrong the Democrats have been on terrorism.  Democrats are wrong on every issue, all the time.  The events of 9/11 proved just how wrong Democrats were then, and how wrong Barack Hussein Obama is now.

Being nice to terrorists does not work!

As we move forward, President Obama is wise to “reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals” — but the American people should know that closing a prison conceived outside the rule of law will not be easy.

Reclaiming Guantanamo and its inhabitants into our legal system from what former Vice President Dick Cheney called “the dark side” will be an enormous challenge and a thicket of thorny legal and policy issues.

Terrorists are not US citizens and are not entitled to the protections of the United States Constitution which Democrats wished to give for years, and Obama is now giving them.  Further, terrorists do not wear uniforms and do not represent a country and are thus not entitled to the protections of the Geneva Convention.

But that won’t stop the Democrats from making terrorists honorary United States citizens.  Is it surprising, given that Democrats want open borders?  I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama moves all the terrorists from Guantanamo to a housing project in Chicago and lavishes them with welfare benefits.

Kerry, despite his bleeding heart, admits the following:

In some cases we simply lack evidence to charge men we know to be extremely dangerous to the American people.

He admits that some of those terrorists at Guantanamo are dangerous.  But how can he know that if he admits we “lack evidence to charge” them?  Do you know what Kerry is preparing us for?  I’ll tell you:  letting terrorists go free.

John Kerry is a moron.  I don’t know who is a bigger moron:  him or Barack Obama.

Regardless of who is the bigger moron, both of these men–and the entire Democratic Party for that matter–are making America less safe by planning to release terror suspects into global society and by giving them the protections of the United States Constitution which should only be granted to citizens, including the high threshold that is the burden of evidence intended to protect citizens–not terrorists–from overzealous prosecution.

Now, Democrats are demanding that terror suspects be protected by the Constitution, even if that means giving knowingly dangerous terrorists their freedom because of technicalities.

It’s amazing to watch liberals spin policies that make it easier for terrorists to kill Americans, isn’t it?

On the positive side, if any acts of terrorism occur on American soil, they are most likely to happen in Democrat-leaning population centers.  And as far as I’m concerned, the more dead Democrats there are, the better.

Democrat Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich really knows how to play politics.  He’s almost as slick of a liar as Barack Obama is.

This week, Blagojevich is claiming that he considered selecting obese limousine liberal Oprah Winfrey to fill Obama’s vacated Senate seat.

Apparently, Blagojevich never discussed it with Oprah.

Why would Oprah Winfrey, who made a reported $250 million in 2007 and has a net worth in excess of $2 billion, want to give up her lucrative income and take a job as a Senator, anyway?

The real question is this:  why is Blagojevich making public now his consideration of Oprah for Senate?  The answer is for the same reason he selected Roland Burris, a black man, for the vacant seat:  he wants to score points with Chicago blacks.

Chicago has a large black population.  When Blagojevich goes on trial, there is a good chance the trial will be held in Chicago.  There are two federal courts in Illinois, one in Chicago and the other in Rockford.  Rockford is only about 100 miles away from Chicago.  So, in either case, it is likely that there will be blacks on the jury.  Blagojevich wants to score as many points with potential black jurors as possible.

Blagojevich may have learned a thing or two about how to rig a jury from the OJ Simpson trial.

Barack Hussein Obama is one of the most disgusting pieces of shit to have ever walked the face of the earth.  The man is as big of a hypocrite as one can get.  He tells other people how to live their lives while living his life the exact opposite of the way he wants the rest of us to live.  Obama is a liar, a fraud, and a hypocrite.

Barack Obama’s old car was up for auction on eBay.  What kind of car did he drive?  Given his demands for higher fuel economy and insistence that all Americans drive small, deathtrap cars that crush like pop cans in a crash, you would expect the new President to have practiced what he preached and driven a small, fuel-efficient car himself.  But he didn’t. He drove a big gas guzzler.

Barack Obama’s old car is a 2005 Chrysler 300C.  It has an 8-cylinder Hemi engine.  It is a high-performance, luxury sedan with a 340-horsepower motor, leather interior, and all the accoutrements one would expect.

After being criticized for hypocrisy, Obama sold the gas guzzler early in his presidential campaign and bought a hybrid in a gesture of hollow symbolism intended to appease his mindless liberal followers who are too stupid to realize what a fraud he is.

So, what kind of fuel economy did Obama’s car get?  What kind of gas mileage did his Chrysler 300C with its high-performance V-8 Hemi achieve?  How many miles per gallon was the car rated at by the EPA?

According to the government’s fuel economy website, the fuel economy for a Chrysler 300C with an eight-cylinder engine is 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.

But does this make Barack Obama a hypocrite?  Absolutely it does.  My car, for example, is rated at 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway–much better than Obama’s.  But that isn’t good enough for President Obama.  Obama thinks I should drive a smaller car.  Obama thinks I should drive a tiny, uncomfortable, dangerous car that affords no protection in a crash.

On May 7th, 2007, Barack Obama criticized automakers on their fuel economy.

Senator Barack Obama of Illinois delivered a stern message to Detroit auto companies on Monday, saying they had done little to lessen the nation’s dependence on foreign oil and needed to improve the fuel efficiency of their vehicles.

Under Mr. Obama’s plan, which he said would save 2.5 million barrels of oil a day, he proposed a 4 percent a year increase in fuel economy standards beginning in 2009, or the equivalent of about one mile per gallon per year.

The current federal standards are 27.5 miles per gallon for cars and 24 miles per gallon for light trucks.

When Obama had the choice to purchase a small, fuel-efficient car or a big gas guzzler, he of his own freewill chose a gas guzzler.  Then the fraud has the audacity to criticize automakers for their fuel economy when his own vehicle got significantly less than the then-current federal standards.

As President, Obama plans to ram unattainable fuel economy standards down the throats of Americans who do not want to drive small, European-style cars with no leg-room.  Obama himself didn’t want to drive one of those cars.  We know this because he didn’t buy one when he had the chance.  So why does he demand that we Americans drive those small cars?

It’s because Obama is an elitist liberal.  He, being an elitist liberal, is entitled to live his life differently than the way he wants to force us to live ours.  He, as a liberal, is entitled to accumulate wealth and make millions of dollars per year, we are not.  He, as a liberal, is entitled to drive big, gas-guzzling cars, we are not.

That is so typical of liberals.  It is impossible to be a liberal unless you are a massive hypocrite.  Not even liberals want to live under their own standards.

President Barack Obama is a whore for big money.  It’s fact.  He sold TV rights to his inauguration and following events for $5 million.  This is something most Presidents do not do.  ABC News is upset because it paid $2 million for an exclusive interview with Obama and inaugural ball footage, including the first dance with his ugly wife, Michelle, which other networks apparently had access to.

Yes, Obama charged ABC News $2 million to allow them to have the first interview after becoming President.  What a nice guy Obama is.  He’s just as much of a common man as he pretended to be during the campaign, isn’t he?

Where did that $5 million go?  What about the $2 million for the interview?  Is that part of the $5 million?  Articles say that a production company calling itself “RK Denver” is getting the $5 million.  Who is RK Denver?

According to a PDF article from the Denver Post, RK Denver Productions was the largest expense of the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.  RK Denver was paid $13,157,690 by the DNC.

The Democratic Party has been good to RK Denver Productions.  I wonder if RK Denver Productions has been good to the DFL.

Pay-for-play Obama strikes again.

When Bush was President, Democrat morons blamed him when oil prices rose.  Now that Barack Obama is President, it seems only fair to blame him when oil prices go up.

Oil prices are up almost $12 a barrel the past few days.  Oil futures closed today at $46.47.  Oil was trading at around $34 per barrel before Obama was inaugurated.

Is Barack Obama trying to make his rich oil buddies richer?  That’s what Democrats said about Bush.

The pro-Obama propaganda continues.  Yesterday, January 21st, 2009, the day after Barack Obama’s inauguration as President of the United States and his first full day in office, the stock market rallied.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average (Dow 30) gained 279.01 points, or 3.51%, and the S&P 500 gained 35.02 points, or 4.35%.  The reason is that some large companies posted better-than-expected results, not President Hussein Obama.

Banking stocks rallied.  Apple posted record revenues and profits on strong sales of iPods and iPhones during the fourth quarter of 2008.  IBM also exceeded Wall Street expectations, posting an increase in fourth quarter earnings of 12% and giving an optimistic forecast for 2009.

Obama had nothing to do with any of this.  In fact, these results are a snapshot of the past–while Bush was still President.

But that doesn’t stop left-wing journalists from giving Obama credit where no credit is due.  Here’s what the LA Times said about yesterday’s market surge:

The market reacts to new information, and it does so quickly.  Obama’s economic stimulus plan was not new information as of yesterday.  We’ve known about it for weeks.  But the results of Apple, IBM, and others was new information.  That is what the market reacted to, not Obama’s stupid stimulus plan.

I’ve got news for you: iPods and iPhones are not essential products.  They are luxuries.  They are toys.  If sales of non-essential luxuries like iPods and iPhones were up in the fourth quarter of 2008, then the economy could not have been that bad.

If left alone, the economy will rebound on its own.  That’s the way the economy works.  Despite this, you can count on the liberal media giving President Obama (oh, how I hate saying that!) credit for things he had nothing to do with.

My suspicion is that the economy was never as bad as it was portrayed to be.  I also suspect that the economy was rebounding in late 2008–before Obama was elected–largely due to low gas prices.  Unfortunately, we can’t determine a trend until after the fact.  We will have to wait a few months until we have enough information to determine whether or not my hunch is correct.

Portland, Oregon, Mayor Sam Adams admitted to having a consensual gay sexual relationship with an 18-year-old man contrary lies he told about it previously.

Adams, a Democrat, claims to have initiated the sexual relationship only after the youth turned 18.  But Adams admits to meeting the boy when he was only 17-years-old.

This is most likely a case of a dirty old Democrat grooming a minor for sexual activity.  Given that Adams has lied about the tryst previously, I am not sure anyone can believe him when he says that the sexual relationship didn’t begin until after the boy reached adulthood.

Doesn’t this sound a lot like the Marc Rich case back in 2006?  The only difference is that the Democrat actually had sex with the young male, Rich did not.

The stock market tanked significantly yesterday on the inauguration of Barack Obama.  After his election in November, the stock market sank for two straight days.  You can find other stories on this topic here on DFL: Dirty Frauds & Liars if you look.

The market does not have confidence in Obama’s plans.  Not only is there a lack of confidence, but there is real concern that Obama will be damaging to the economy.

If the market viewed Obama as good for the economy, it would have risen.  The market is forward looking.  The past is irrelevant.  What does matter is what investors think is going to happen in the future.  If the market thought Obama was going to turn the economy around, it would have risen.  If the market thought that Obama would be neutral for the economy, the market would have been relatively stable.  But the market dropped sharply, erasing about six months of returns in a normal year on the day of Obama’s inauguration.

Obama has promised all sorts of tax increases that will hurt businesses and kill job creation.  So it is no surprise that the market reacted negatively by going down sharply.

Yesterday, January 20th, 2008, the day of Barack Obama’s inauguration, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (Dow 30) sank 332.13 points, or 4.01%, finishing under 8,000 points at 7949.09.  The S&P 500 fared even worse, shedding 44.90 points, or 5.28%, closing at a value of 805.22.

Before the election of Obama on November 4th, 2008, the Dow closed at 9625.28 and the S&P 500 closed at 1005.75.  Since Obama was elected, the Dow has sunk 1,676.19 points, or 17.4%; the S&P 500 has sunk 200.53 points, or 19.94%.

Hundreds-of-billions of dollars of wealth evaporated the day Obama was sworn-in as President of the United States.  Trillions of dollars in wealth have evaporated since his election last November.  I hope you fools who voted for him are happy.

Unfortunately, the pro-Obama propaganda campaign continues by the mainstream media.  I saw countless news stories about Obama’s speeches and the million people who attended his “historic” inauguration, but I saw not one about the stock market’s reaction to the new President.

I guess liberals in the media don’t want people to know the truth:  Obama and the Democrats are expected to cause significant economic damage.

The market has spoken.  Its message is loud and clear:  Barack Obama and the Democrats are bad for the economy.

Today, the day of the inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama as President of the United States, the stock market tanked.

As of this writing, the Dow Jones Industrials are down 238 points, or 2.8%.  The S&P 500 is down 33 points, or 3.8%.

When President Bush was elected, stock markets all over the world rallied on the news.  When Obama was elected, the exact opposite happened.  The market sunk for two straight days following his election.  On the day he is sworn in, the market is down again.

Make no mistake: if the market viewed Barack Obama and his stupid plans for the economy as a positive, the market would have risen.  It would have rallied strongly.  But the exact opposite happened.

There can be no mistaking the fact that the market views the election of Obama as a huge negative for the economy.

Those of us with brains knew that Obama and the Democrats were bad for the economy.  This is no surprise to us.

Today marks a historical event.  Today Barack Hussein Obama, a liar, a fraud, a hypocrite, and one of the most crooked politicians of the modern era, becomes President of the United States.

What a terrible day.  And it has nothing to do with the fact that he’s black, or Arab, or as he calls himself, “a mutt”.

One can’t help but to think of Obama’s idiocy at a time like this and wonder how he ever got elected.  Remember his “plan” to put a windfall profits tax on oil companies and give every American a $1,000 “rebate”?  As stupid as it sounds, that was one of his campaign promises.

As a state senator in 1998, Obama wrote two letters to city and state officials to support a Rezko/Davis senior housing project in his district that received more than $14 million in taxpayer money and netted $885,000 in fees for the two developers.

Barack Obama is as dirty and crooked as a politician can get.  The media never reports this information.  What they do report is propaganda designed to make Obama look as saintly as possible.

Stimulus Plan May Not Work Article

My only response to this is: tell me something I didn’t already know.

Obama and the Democrats are using this recession as an opportunity to ram socialism down our throats, which has been their secret goal all along.  Obama’s plan calls for, basically, the government to hire people to do make-work projects that don’t need to be done.  Worst of all, after the government funding dries up, those jobs will disappear.

All Obama’s plan does is hire temp workers.  When the projects are completed and the money is gone, those people will be fired.  Then they will be out of work all over again.  Unless, Obama’s stimulus plan isn’t temporary and ends up being permanent.

That’s what I think this is.  The Democrats are not planning a one-time stimulus to create jobs because those jobs will all be temporary.  They are using the recession as an excuse to convert our free market-based economy to one of centralized planning.

When the Democrats control the jobs, and they control health care, and they get everyone in the nation on the welfare rolls, they will have cemented themselves in power for as long as the United States lasts, however long that might be.

It’s about power.  The DFL could cut taxes giving everyone a tax break to stimulate the economy, which it would.  But that wouldn’t give them the control they seek over the daily lives of Americans.

One economist in the article says something that I have been saying all along:

“I think the economy will recover regardless of what Washington does. But the long-term effect here will be to reduce the standard of living of the next generation because they will be saddled with all this debt,” said Chris Edwards of the libertarian-leaning Cato Institute.

That is exactly right.  What we are experiencing is called the business cycle.  The economy grows and contracts a little every few years.  This is normal and unpreventable.  Left alone, the economy will right itself eventually.  It always has before.  Obama’s jobs plan is completely unnecessary.  Odds are it will not work.

But we all know that the Democratic Party has a long track record of failure, don’t we?

The Senate voted yesterday to release the remaining $350 billion of the TARP bailout funds to Barack Obama when he takes office next week.

Democrats demanded oversight and accountability when the Bush administration was handling the bailout program with the first installment of $350 billion.  But they are giving Obama the money with no strings attached.

Pure hypocrisy.

Of the $350 billion, Obama plans to use $40 billion to $100 billion to bailout homeowners at risk of foreclosure who never should have gotten loans in the first place.

Here’s a story about another shortsighted Democrat policy.  Democrats have been pushing biofuels the past few years as a way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and conserve fossil fuels.  The problem, as always, is that good intentions do not always mean good ideas.

In Minnesota, schools have had to close because of the cold weather.  They aren’t closing because it is too cold for the children to make it to school, they are closing because school buses aren’t running properly because of government-mandated usage of biodiesel fuel.

When it gets cold, biodiesel separates.  Part of the fuel clumps together and ends up clogging fuel filters.  This separation can occur at temperatures below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.  As of this writing, it is currently -20F in Minnesota.

Not only are schools having to close because buses won’t run, students are left stranded at bus stops in the cold waiting for buses that never come.

Democrats are wrong on yet another issue.  For whatever reason, the Democrat mind is not capable of critical thought.  Mandating the use of a fuel that separates in cold weather in a state known for cold weather is foolish, yet so typically Democrat.

Biodiesel School Bus Story

The Democrat mayor of Racine, WI, is in a lot of hot water.  Gary Becker, 51, was charged with six felonies.  Charges allege the Democrat possessed child pornography and tried to arrange a sexual encounter with a child.

Becker is married with two children. He was charged with misconduct in office, child enticement, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, attempt to expose a child to harmful material, and possession of child pornography.

Racine city workers who were helping Mayor Becker fix a problem with his personal computer found illegal pornographic files on it and alerted police.

Becker was elected mayor in 2003 and ran unopposed for re-election in 2007. The Democrat had previously served two terms as a city alderman.

At least Bill Clinton limited himself to barely-legal adults.

Barack Obama, with his pick of Eric Holder to be Attorney General, is promising to make it easier for terrorists to commit acts of murder against defenseless American citizens.

The first thing the Democrats are doing is lessening the ability of the United States to prevent terrorist attacks.  In the future, effective interrogation techniques such as waterboarding, which has produced intelligence that has thwarted terrorist attacks, will be abandoned in favor of humane treatment of terrorists.

Holder says that “waterboarding is torture”.  Waterboarding involves pouring water on someone’s face to give him the sensation of drowning–it is completely harmless.  These terror suspects are not U.S. citizens, and are not entitled to the protections of the United States constitution.  But that won’t stop the Democrats from giving them those protections.  Further, because terrorists are not affiliated with any nation and do not wear uniforms, they are not entitled to the protections of the Geneva Convention, either.

Holder is hinting that he may seek to prosecute members of the Bush administration for keeping the nation safe for the past seven-and-a-half years via its use of waterboarding.

To add injury to insult, Obama plans to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, that houses terror suspects from around the globe.

We know that dozens of terror suspects released from Guantanamo have returned to terrorism the past few years.

Obama does not seem to realize that the reason those prisoners are being held at Guantanamo is because they are dangerous.  If the prisoners Bush released are committing acts of terrorism, what does Obama think the ones he releases are going to do?

Obama is doing everything possible to undermine the safety and security of the United States.  He promised during the campaign that he would be tough against terrorism, but he lied.

On the plus side, if any acts of terrorism occur on American soil, they are going to be committed in Democrat-leaning population centers.  It is more likely that Democrat voters will bear the brunt of terrorism and be killed in higher proportion.  I really don’t have a problem with that.  A good Democrat to me is one that isn’t breathing.

As a final note, some liberals out there are rallying support to pressure Obama into allowing some Guantanamo detainees to live in the United States after they are released.

Human rights advocates are urging the incoming Obama administration to allow some detainees from the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to resettle as U.S. residents as part of any plan to close the controversial facility.

Some have the mental disorder of liberalism so badly that they not only want to treat terrorists with respect and dignity, but they want them to live amongst us.

Sadly, our nation is now run by liberals.  So it wouldn’t surprise me if the Obama administration actually allows Guantanamo detainees to live in the United States.  They’ll probably get some generous welfare benefits and free housing for life from the Democrats, too.

Democrat Barney Frank, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said that Barack Obama plans to spend between $40 billion and $100 billion to help homeowners facing foreclosure.

Frank is currently drafting legislation to control what is done with the remaining $350 billion of the $700 TARP bailout package passed with large Democrat support late last year.

In a nutshell, instead of kicking deadbeats out of their homes as should be done, Barack Obama is going to give them free money or pay their mortgage  payments for them.  Basically, people will get free houses.

Did you get a free house?  I didn’t.  That’s the Democrats for you.

Barney Frank Responsible For Mortgage Crisis

Congressional Democrats are hard at work to bankrupt the United States as quickly as possible.  They are currently drafting legislation to add $850 billion to the deficit as part of an effort to jumpstart the economy which will fail miserably.

Obama originally called for business tax cuts.  Businesses, as you may know, are the economic engine of our economy for it is businesses that create jobs.  Congressional Democrats strongly oppose any tax cuts for job-creating businesses.

Of the $850 billion price tag for the package, only $300 billion will be in the form of tax cuts, mostly to middle and lower-income Americans who do not create jobs.  The other $550 billion will be spent on welfare and infrastructure programs.

Much of the non-tax cut portion of the plan will go to states so they can up funding for welfare, education, and labor services.  Not one single penny spent on welfare will create a job. Additional spending on education will not create any permanent jobs unless the spending is permanent as well.  And nobody is really sure what is meant by “labor services”.  Is this extensions to unemployment insurance?  Job training?  Who knows.

Here are the problems with Obama’s stimulus plan:

• It adds almost $1 trillion to the federal deficit;
• None of the jobs created will be permanent.  They will all be temporary and will disappear when government funding ceases;
• To make many of the jobs permanent, the government will have to continue funding them into the future, hardly making this a one-time stimulus plan and instead, making it a never-ending socialist plan;
• The infrastructure spending on highways, mass transit, and school construction will have no immediate impact because these things must be designed and contract bidding must occur before laborers will be put to work which can take six months or longer.

Obama’s stimulus plan is smoke and mirrors.  It is a Democrat feel-good plan which will not come close to creating 4.1 million jobs as Obama has claimed anytime soon.  The only near-term effect of this plan will be to more quickly push the United States toward its inevitable bankruptcy.

It’s about control.  To stimulate the economy immediately, Democrats could order an immediate reduction in payroll and business taxes.  That would put money in people’s pockets as soon as payday, which is weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for most income earners.  But Democrats would never do this, because it would put the money earners in control of stimulating the economy.  Democrats want as much control for themselves as possible.  That is why they are spending on infrastructure.  Anyone who wants money will have to come crawling to the Democrats.  They, and they alone, will decide who is and who is not worthy of receiving money.
